valley. there is a little bit of roadwork, it may be causing a break light or two, let's go back to the desk. there is some new information in the search for the missing malaysia plane. satellite imagery has picked up two objects floating in the southern indian ocean which could be debris from the plane. here is more on the objects to find those objects and to determine what they are. >> australian authorities spotted this and they do believe this is a solid lead in the search for the missing jetliner. now the problem is finding that debris. u.s. planes are searching right now flying over the southern indian ocean hoping to spot that debris. the search area is 1,500 miles southwest in australia of the city of perth.

they show two objects bobbing up and down in the water and the larger one is 78 feet long. there is rain in the area, and poor visibility is making it hard to spot the objects. it is unclear if this sighting will lead to the missing plane. >> we have to likely confirm it belongs to the aircraft, recover it and bring it back to australia and that would take some time. what we are looking for is a confirmation that it does belong to the aircraft or it does the not and we will consider what follows from there. >> if search teams can't spot those from the air, the next step in this process is to drop down buoys to mark that spot and it should help lead ships to the area and eventually they can figure out if this debris does belong to 370.
