life. >> how an accident almost had her checking out. and the electric drip stripe comes to "rtm." see all the thrills and near spills. what could possibly go wrong? >> i think we're going to lose troutman. there might be a job opening at "right this minute." oh. >> ahh! i think many of us would wisely consider zip lining to be one of the safer extreme sports, right? >> no. >> look at this poor guy. >> oh, what? >> oh, shoot. >> oh, wait, he was going backwards? >> he was, he kind of turned it around backwards and coming down this zip line at some speed. no brakes. he goes full force into that fence and pylon area. >> oh. >> the platform area. >> oh. >> that's a serious impact. this happened about a year ago. the woman not posting this video until now because she wasn't sure if he was going to be okay.

broke his back in two spots. broke both legs. shattered his face but she says that he is back walking and talking and okay. >> there was no way to stop himself. he couldn't -- he couldn't have done it. >> pretty freak accident but pretty serious one. >> don't they have or shouldn't they have an emergency backup brake that you could maybe manually handle if you know your brakes are failing you could reach up and pull a handle -- >> the zip lines i've been on have redundancredundancies, i'm if this park had it or not. >> this is what i picture every time i see a zip line, i picture that happening and i'm not doing it. two videos with a bunch of just terrible decisions. look at this vehicle pulling out of that parking spot right there, almost immediately you barely can tell it's hit a car that's driving right behind it. the driver of that car 84-year-old margaret underwood pulls back into the spot while her husband got out of the car to go talk to that other driver. margaret puts the car in drive

and accidentally -- >> oh, margaret. >> -- drives right through thor to doors. >> made a bad situation worse. >> that's a bad day for poor margaret. >> but nobody was walking in the door. nobody was walking out the door. >> nobody was walking out the door but there was an 80-year-old woman adrienne watkins walking to the registers. she decides to back up because there's something that caught her eye that she wanted to pick up and that probably saved her life. >> oh! >> oh, wow. >> my gosh. she was right there. >> she only suffered minor injuries and bruising. >> i would just love to know what it was that made her stop. >> margaret was charged with improper backing and careless driving. now, this other one is incredibly difficult to watch. check out this group of boys in detroit. they're about to cross the street. look at this boy here. >> oh. >> at the very last minute decides to run across the street. but almost immediately is struck by a truck. the driver of that truck gets out of the vehicle to try to

help the 11-year-old boy that he just hit. watch the crowd that starts to form in the area. they're there to beat the driver of that vehicle. >> because that's going to help. >> it wasn't his fault at all. you drive past mlionfek every day. if someone jumps out in front of your car while you're moving, i mean, that can't be your fault. >> apparently they beat him so much that they sent him straight to the hospital to the point where he's currently fighting for his life. the 11-year-old boy fortunately will be okay. he was taken to the hospital. had some x-rays but is going to be okay. >> you know, the guy stopped, too, he stopped to check on the kid like you're supposed to. he was doing the right thing. it wasn't his fault. that's terrible. another rescue from a tight spot caught on camera in china. this time you actually might not believe what's stuck in that tiny little space between two buildings. >> what is that? >> what is that? >> is that a human? >> that my friends is a bull. >> what? >> a bull that weighs 330 pounds.

firefighters did show up to rescue this bull. the only way they could get it out was to tie some ropes to this bull's back legs. this wall looks like it's giving birth to a bull. >> yeah. >> of all places for this beast to go it chooses that. >> yes. >> so was it, like, charging at something and then got stuffed into the little crack? >> that's an excellent question. according to the owner of this bull, the bull escaped and was making a run for it and as it ran chose that as its exit point. >> look at its tail, i like it in here, what are you doing? >> once the bull is out walking out amongst the people you can only imagine how tight that squeeze was for this thing. >> maybe he was playing a real-good game of hide-and-go-seek. that's a really good hiding spot for a bull. >> he won. if that's the case, he won. car enthusiasts shield your eyes because this is probably your worst nightmare. take a look at what you're

seeing here. you surely can't recognize this. from bowling green, kentucky, back on february 12th a giant sinkhole 40 feet deep swallowed up eight corvettes at the national corvette museum. >> aren't just everyday corvettes. >> mo, no, no, no, these are no. what you are seeing is the white 1.5 millionth corvette to be produced. this is the seventh car that they've recovered from this disaster. let me just read off the other damage here for you, nick. this will hurt to hear. a 1993 z-1 spider, a blue devil, a 1962 black corvette, a 1984 ppg pace car, a 1992 white 1 millionth core vet. the 1993 ruby red 40th anniversary corvette and a 2001 mamet hammer z-06 corvette. the eighth one is still down there somewhere. some of them are worse off than others.

this walrus lives in a sea animal center and theater in crimea, they brought in this man who plays a native american flute and as you can see here, a big fan. >> it was kind of haunting music. i'm not surprised it works on sampson, it probably works on all kind of animals and humans. >> he rises up on the two little flippers and i got to get closer to this guy. >> he wants out to get beside this guy and really enjoy this. >> they are buds now. >> the only thing missing is a double rainbow and it's a full thing for this walrus. >> double rainbow all the way across the sky. >> i love how the whiskers are, like, rubbing across his shoulder. >> kissing him. >> thank you, man, keep playing this other stuff and it's this kind of music i like. >> i would tip you, sir, for this music but i'm a walrus. >> i can just kiss you sort of through the bars. one of the fastest growing fun sports out there is the drift trike. we've seen the guys rolling down

the hill. the problem with the drift trike is you need a hill. until now. the folks over at local motors have created an electric drift trike. they started a kick-starter campaign. this thing is awesome. it's got a bmx front fork, heavy duty front wheel. >> it looks like a hoot. >> look at this thing. >> this is a big boy big wheel. >> now you don't have to pedal it, you crank the little throttle and off you go. the motor is in the front wheel there. you get to slide around with the back wheel. it charges in about three hours. you've got about 45 minutes of run time and around 12 miles of travel time, so forget hiking yourself up the hill. just drift with this thing. you want to try it out? >> yes. no. >> we got two of them outside. >> no! >> yes, we do. >> no way.
