>> why the ending is not what anyone expected. and he is the mystery speedo batman with a cult following. now we're about to learn who this masked man is. >> see the moment the mask comes off. this video circulated the web, went viral, and made people incredibly angry because these thugs in romania, look what they did to this defenseless older woman. one of them is grabbing her by her neck and spinning her around, but listen to her scream. you hear his friends cracking up. they live in the same neighborhood, and they probably

are familiar with her. he lets her go. she's screaming. they, in turn, are cracking up. one of the guys is showing his muscles to show how tough he is, but it gets worse because then they start egging him on to do it again, so he and he does it . >> that's awful. they're just taking advantage of this -- >> they're torturing her. >> after the first time you can barely watch it. >> apparently this is a group of teenagers between the ages of 15 to 17. everyone on social media was outraged. immediately they started sharing the video, posting it. the good thing about this is they were identified and they are being investigated on charges of disturbing public order. the dwi that was spinning the woman was fined $50 and the two teenagers that were egging him on and the guy behind the camera were also fined the same amount. the thing is authorities may have to drop this case if this

woman doesn't file an official complaint against these guys. now, reports say that because she's so terrified she will not do this, and probably what's going to happen is they're going to get away. i have some surveillance footage for you, and it's going to make you say what in the heck was that? behind that cute dress is 8-year-old laura beattie just doing her job, getting some change for a customer at the bar. watch what happens. >> oh. what was that? fireworks? >> exactly. that's exactly what laura beattie thought. she thought somebody lit a firework. she thought maybe a fuse box had exploded. if you notice, that object comes straight toward laura, and she runs screaming off the screen. that was actually an electronic cigarette that exploded in a charger and blew across the room not only hitting laura beatty and sending her arm and her dress, but it also hit another patron and left a little red burn mark on his stomach.

>> that's from an electronic cigarette that's supposed to be safer? >> get this, according to report that cigarette was charging with an ipad charger. not the actual charger designed for that particular e-cigarette. it exploded, and pieces of that cigarette, including the tip of it, shot across the room with a great deal of force. watch it again. now that you know what it is. >> whoa. >> yeah. >> it looked like -- >> laura ran scream and crying. another patron at the bar had to take her to the bathroom to help calm her down. her arm was covered from black soot. this particular egreat had a lithium battery, and manufacturers do say that when charging a lithium battery, you have to take precautions and follow instructions, and, again, this particular cigarette was not being charged with the included charger that came with the item. they say always stay near an item that is being charged. don't leave it unattended. they also say don't charge it for too long.

>> stop the vehicle. >> new mexico state police just released this video from a january 4th police chase. the man behind the wheel of that white cargo van is 72-year-old albert urban. he is going the wrong way on the i-25 in new mexico. what you are about to see is the dramatic ending of it. officer jonathan wright has just executed a pit maneuver. you see the van roll, but this incident isn't over. keep watching. >> oh, he keeps going. >> the car continues to move, so officer jonathan wright pulled out his gun and opened fire. mr. irving was shot in the arm. it wasn't a fatal injury, but let me take you to a few minutes before this happened. here you see officer wright turning around in the car. he sees the car going the other way. miraculously no other cars were hit. according to local reports, they say the chase went on for 17 miles. they did use spike strips twice. one tire was blown, but he was still going, and that's when officer wright used a pit

maneuver. >> get him up. >> they're telling him turn the car off. they say get him out. it's obviously chaotic because somebody has just opened fire on this driver. why is this guy running? >> you say he is 72 years old? >> after they stopped him and got him out of the car, they asked him -- >> what are you doing? >> the man didn't know what he was doing because he didn't know where he was. police say that he suffers from alzheimer's. now, the d.a. has ruled that officer wright was justified in using force to stop this man, and he will not be charged, but mr. irving will not be charged as well. they say he is unfit to stand trial. he is now back home with his family, but the d.a. says his family understands his driving days are over. this may look like a casting call for santa's play, but it is, many of the, 3,000 reindeer.

last friday i told you guys about fool's gold, the modern day cannonball run. a bunch of people get into crummy cars they have to buy for about $2,000 or less. they dress in costume, drive from austin, texas, all the way up to las vegas. that's where they need to sell their cars, take all the money they get, and put it on one single bet. here's some video from this past weekend's event.

but this is the lowest of the low. you see daniel jones who describes himself to police as a nine out of ten drunk attack this 42-year-old man in a powered wheelchair. he is trying to steal his bag. the baghdad that that man is holding on to got wrapped around the man's neck. he was wearing a breathing appe apparatus already. >> that did not stop daniel jones who continues to wrench at the bag eventually prying it away from the hands of that man before he takes off. but let me make you feel a little bit better. this guy was caught and charged with robbery, but he claimed that he couldn't remember the attack at all. in fact, at first he denied the attack to police. even after he saw the video, but the victim and a nearby security guard at a grocery store pointed him out in line-up. >> what does nine out of ten even drunk mean? he is drunk nine days out of ten. on a scale of one to ten he is really drunk? >> either way i think it's bad.
