believed gobear's claims and arrested him. he spent 27 hours in jail. he claims the police never did any kind of investigation and believed gobear's claims that he had video of her and he was trying to extort her. the video was just released and in a trial last week a judge convicted the passenger jennifer gobear of simple battery. the cabbie is filing a federal civil rights lawsuit against his passenger and the city. jennifer gobear faces felony charges for lying to police in her initial statement. >> i really do have to go. oh. >> how is this for a new year's party. check out this. video from this year's song festival in thailand. goes on for multiple days to celebrate thailand's new year. what it turns into, a big party on the street. a big water war. notice these guys from the fun pov youtube channel, they've got

more than 1500 road accidents, 161 deaths. >> what? >> actually a number that's down from previous years. >> from this? >> from this festival. more than 1600 people injured. a lot of the injuries does come from drunk driving and speeding out there on the streets because you have to figure people are partying, having a good time and everyone's out in the street. so this kind of stuff -- >> this video is going to make several people especially cyclists really upset. this is in the streets of baltimore. the cyclist on the bike is on his way to meet some friends and everything seems to be just fine, but things very quickly take a very unfortunate turn. he's approaching this intersection, this light, and you hear a big thump. there's laughing and screaming.

you'll complete random unprovo attack against michael bowman, the cyclist. he said he didn't suffer any major injuries because he was wearing a helmet and he thinks the helmet took the brunt of the punches. but he did have an injured thumb when this was over. what you see is him turning back around and picking up his back lock. what he was trying to do when he realized he was about to be attack was take his lock and try to use it as a weapon to protect himself but ended up falling. he did retrieve it before the kids could get to it. >> did they steel anything, take his bike, try to get anything from him? >> they just caused physical harm. they didn't take anything. apparently this isn't the first time this has happened. other cyclists in the baltimore area have said a random attack just like this has happened before. we're going to watch puppies for dollars.
