fedex truck slammed into a bus killing 10 people and we got a feel for what it was like for witness whose watched it all unfold. >> we have fire. we have all kinds of students out here on the highway right now. it was a tour bus. >> tests were done on the same stretch of road where the crash happened one week ago tonight. ktvu's noelle walker is live. you watched the tests? >> reporter: yes, from our advantage point here, it looked like just a bus and a semi passing by on the freeway as they should have done last week but there is equipment that tells investigators what the drivers might have seen and what speeds the vehicles were going before the crash. >> reporter: it happens in so many tragedies. memorials live where people died. >> try to show our support.

the district attorney will seek the death penalty in the murder of an 8-year-old girl. darnell williams is charged with shooting and killing her during a sleep over last july. prosecutors say she was killed when he knocked on the door of the home and opened fire when the door opened. two other children and a grandmother were wounded. prosecutors say a 30-year- old woman accused in a deadly shooting of a 16-year-old boy had a child with the victim. magdalena glinkowski was arguing arguing with had victim terrance forks bout his girlfriend when she shot him to death. magdalena glinkowski was charged with the murder today. b.a.r.t. fined thousands of dollars by cal-osha for safety violations that resulted in the deaths of two workers. they were hit and killed by a b.a.r.t. train while inspecting a dip in
