yesterday, some record highs, san francisco hit 90s and boy is that hot for the end of april and today will be pretty warm and we will have a hint of a sea breeze, a few high clouds, mostly sunny, still fair and warm and it felt like a cool breeze coming through the window and still really mild, 66 and a half moon bay, and they were in the 80s yesterday, beautiful beach weather and probably good today and a sea breeze is on its way by this afternoon. all in all, especially in the oakland hills, that allows some to sore. it will still be warm to hot and they will see a slight cool down and if you are far enough inland upper 80s to 90s, i will have more on that in about 15 minutes, here is sal.

we spoke with her and she is a sophomore in college. this all began on sunday when a man asked for a ride to mountain view. that man said he was in the army and had a suspended license and couldn't drive. she said he looked harmless and so she agreed to drive him to his father's house in mountain view and after they arrived at his father's house his mood changed and became very angry and she felt at that point she was not free to leave and she also said at that point, middle brook tried to kill her. >> he attacked me and held my arms really tight and then i started screaming obviously and he started choking me and i was screaming louder and he put his hand on my face and he squeezed really tight and he said shut up, get in the trunk.

but alverez said she convinced him to let her keep driving and she deliberately crashed into another car on the freeway here in the south bay and those two cars pulled over and alverez told them what happened and said she had been kidnapped and called 911. after the crash, he ran off, he abducted then a 61-year-old woman and took her to a small town near stockton, eventually she was let go and by this point they were figuring out if there were more victims in the case. ktvu channel 2 morning news. one person has been punched in an overnight fire. two people and a dog were in

the home when that fire started. the red cross is now helping them to find a place to stay. the fire destroyed more than half the house. it appears to have started in the back of the home. the cause though is under investigation. the wind and dry whether or mad if hard to drive near the park. and the contra costa fire department tweeted this picture of the fire. it started midnight and no reported injuries and no nearby homes were threatened. it will be another hot one in the bay area and that's why there is an alert to people working outside as well. cal osha for the occupational safety and health have issued their first heat advisory of the year. temperatures are 25 degrees
