disappearance. the car is parked here near the family's house this morning and officers are keeping an eye out for her. she was last seen on the 14th hundreds street. police have not said anything about the circumstances of her disappearance but she is at risk because of her age. last night officers did a full scale search of this neighborhood which turned up nothing and now police are hoping somebody will recognize her picture and somebody will see her this morning and put in that call which can help reunite her with her family. they are trying to get an ongoing search of 73rd where police are still searching throughout the news this

morning. live in oakland, ktvu channel 2 morning news alex savage. the new 911 computer system has glitches which could have a big impact on public safety. tell us about the first responders they are dealing with, tara? >> reporter: we did have a chance to speak with one supervisor who said transitioning to the new 911 system has definitely been challenging. last night they launched a new $3.1 million system but since wednesday that system has been short circuiting and they have had trouble accessing information about calls from the field. in this high tech age they must rely on their phones instead
