is ktvu channel 2 news at 5:00 p.m. >> the fbi says it considers him armed and dangerous. tonight authorities are asking for your help to find the man after explosives were removed from his san francisco home. i am ken wayne. >> i am heather holmes. >> a man hunt is underway after a fbi raid uncovered explosive materials inside that san francisco home. we told you about the raid at the home last night. now we are learning more about the man authorities are looking for. we get more on the developing with news from ktvu's cara liu. >> reporter: we are getting more details about the fbi raid yesterday here in san francisco at an apartment. a man hunt as you said is now underway. fbi agents announcing they are looking for ryan chamberlain. lives in san francisco and

wanted for explosive materials. he is 6'3", 225 pounds and blue eyes and brown hair and last seen driving south of san francisco in a white nissan ultima. investigators don't know his intent or motive but they consider him armed and dangerous. investigators were out here all day long yesterday from morning till late at night, some in hazmat suits. >> no threat to public safety. i will answer these questions off the bat. there is explosives. no radiation known at this time. >> reporter: we spoke with a neighbor whose office is next to his apartment. she last saw him last weekend or the weekend before as she was taking out her recycling inasmuch she talked to -- recycling. she talked to him off often is surprise he is at the center of

numbers are disappointing. voting is on track to be low in the bay area unless there is a surge on tuesday. ktvu's cristina rendon is here now with more on the turn out. 134 people may not -- >> reporter: some people may not know they were welcoming early voters. when we were there a hand full of peach showed up. >> reporter: while volunteers open doors and count an unusually low number of ballots, down the hall it is quiet. empty booths waited for voters to come in. >> slower than what we would normally see. >> reporter: he says of the counties 800,000 voters, 35% usually turn out for a primary but this year may be different. >> right now we received 83,000 vote by mails out of 400,000.

park officials at mount rainier say dangerous conditions preventing them from recovering the bodies of six climbers fallen to their death. the group includes a man from truckee. matt hegeman worked as a guide and climbed mount rainier 50 times. the group fell or got caught in an avalanche. it is one of the deadliest

a man was arrested for drunk driving after he plowed into a sheriff's patrol car at 2:45 a.m. this morning. the chp says the car was hit head on. no one was hurt. police took over the investigation from the chp. we are learning more about a head on crash this weekend. as we told you last night it happened add 5:45 p.m. yesterday evening. east of 680. police say a red taurus drifted into traffic and slammed into the big rig. he died at the scene. the big rig driver and another driver shat slammed into the big rig were treated for minor and moderate injuries. authorities are trying to determine why the car drifted into the lane. new at 5:00 p.m. more than 120,000 people are on

the masters champion was in position to win today but instead it was a first timer who took the tournament in ohio. bubba watson got off to a good start. a birdie on the first hole. played his first four holes 2 under par but ended up with a 72. he made his move. holding out from the bunker at number 2. they traded the lead. under the radar. he got hot. started 7 strokes back but used shots like this to get into contention. number 7. he makes his birdie. shot an 8 under par, 64. leader in the clubhouse and had to wait for two hours. he would have won if this birdie had not gone at 18. he had a 69 and he watched as they headed for a playoff.
