through the business window and another shows that. he says he was targeted. >> this is just terrible. >> an early morning street fight, police say it started with an argument and ended with one man dead, good afternoon, i am in for tory. we are still following the story and it happened near there and janine de la vega has what one witness heard before police arrived. >> reporter: christine the the witness said he saw the fight. he said he saw those men beat that victim with a bat and then he ran and they chased him and

police later found him dead at some other apartments and we have been following this story since then and we still don't know what caused the fight or why they killed that man. we talked to some witnesses who had this to say. >> yeah, i saw the fight and they chased him and i saw that. >> yeah. >> and the police initially received the call that was reported as shots fired. >> and the police originally responded to the call it was called in as a fight and so you know they want to know what

happened. >> okay. earlier we spoke to witnesses and one woman said she saw the fight but didn't want to be identified or get involved. we also saw them and so we will find out. >> and we are proceeding with the investigation and they got the clues together or wharf and at this point we will just proceed with that. >> the crime is random and it is depressing, especially since the people that live here say they are worried about living here now. >> and we just movedded here so i guess we will probable bring move in a couple of months. >> and i just saw a detective

>> we talked to officials who said they don't believe it is arson and the fire does not appear suspicious. we are also following this story where a man says he was robbed while passed out at the bart bus station and he said he was just trying to get some sleep when they robbed him and the police caught them and we will have more on this later. >> i do know that when i walk i see a lot of wallets laying around so i guess they steal a lot of wallets from people that walk around here. >> and we will keep following

that story and bring you more when we learn it. and today we are also following the story about the talks between the mta and the unions continue desspite the fact that time is running out for them to reach a deal. both sides recessed for a while to cool down after an emotional meeting yesterday and we will have this report for you from there. >> now, we were here following the subject here and they are having a meeting to hash out the way they are going to pay for their pension and mta says employees would contribute 7.5% of their wages toward their

pension and that operators would receive a 5.5% increase to offset that cost. >> we are also increasing their pension by that cost to that so if you look at that i believe it is a pretty significant benefit. >> now he recently wrote a letter to the union negotiator saying to come back to the table and make a deal, now they have a document that says if they don't receive an increase they will go on strike and they have not received a rate increase in over three years and we followed them into the room for the hearing. >> you walked out of the

meeting. we were willing to stay there forever until we get this deal done and you made the mistake, you crunched the numbers. we are ready to get back to the table today. >> now we will continue to follow that and bring you more when we have it and right now the officials say they don't know what will happen. >> right now the witness is returning to the witness stand in the trial involving that man. now he is saying he
