people were taken to hospitals from the festival and 29 drug- related arrests were made. the cause of the death has not yet been released. sheriff's deputies in sonoma county are searching for suspects after a deadly overnight shooting in windsor. they were called to a home on windsor avenue just before 1:00 this morning. when they arrived, they found a teenager who was shot in the chest and he died at the hospital. two other people were shot in the legs and a fourth victim shot in the hand. deputies say the gunman may be driving a blue nissan. cal trans may have skipped important steps on the eastern span of the bay bridge. the sacramento bee reports cal trans changed requirements to allow crack welds on the new bridge and not known how many cracks were left in the bridge and that cal trans did not perform a rigorous analysis of how the crack welds would affect the span during a major earthquake. cal trans said the crack welds do not pose a safety risk.

goats are helping the city of san francisco getting ready for next weekend's pride celebration. this is video here of goats eating dry grass on hillsides around the bay area. today, more goats are being brought in to take on twin peaks in san francisco. that's where the pink triangle will be set up for pride weekend. it will be a tradition since 1995. it will be installed on saturday. authorities in east sacramento captured a mountain lion spotted around neighborhoods. it was sedated and captured around 11:00 last night. the mountain lion was caught in a neighborhood less than a mile from where a police officer and resident saw it at 1:00 yesterday afternoon. >> i'm on the phone with 9-1-1 while i'm driving too, like creeping along. and they're like, first off, is this an emergency? well, there's a mountain lion coming down my street. >> yesterday, sacramento police issued a text alert telling people in the area to be on the lookout for the mountain lion. no one was hurt. the new 49ers stadium opens

where the fire started but firefighters say the home was completely destroyed. no one was hurt and the cause of the fire was still under investigation. three baby kittens were saved by firefighters in contra kosta county after they responded to a house fire. it started around 2:00 yesterday afternoon on hill crest avenue in pittsburgh. firefighters say they were dealing with what they called an extreme horder situation. they had to cut their way into the house because all the doors were blocked. three newborn kittens were discovered in the process. at least two of the kittens were treated with oxygen before all three were handed over to animal control. we're learning more about a fire that swept through a small cordelia neighborhood in fairfield. that fire jumped across interstate 680 to the northeast side friday afternoon and destroyed or damaged three homes and four buildings. yesterday, residents did go back to the neighborhood. the newspaper reporter helped keep the fire from spreading.
