we had clear skies about an hour ago and it is being helped along by a front and temperatures can go anywhere from 50s and 60s and fog is being helped along by a front and it is already starting to advance. we will go 64 at noon and 59 from clear to fog in one hour and that changes fast. we have inland temperatures which will be in the 60s to start for some and even down to the santa clara valley, a couple of cooler conditions and it is starting to pick up for a few not too bad and also at oakland, this front will enhance the fog, it will pick up and the fog is moving in fast. it will impact the coast and also the city so 60s for some and #0s and 80s for some, here is sal. we are looking at a commute which is getting up to full speed early if you are driving in many of these areas, let's go out and take a look at what

she joins us with what we can expect with what is being released this morning, pamela? >> i was just speaking with some of my contacts here and they tell me they expect investigators to go for the next four our five hours. the big focus today with what or who is to blame and investigators have pointed to pilot error and they said they did not monitor the plane's speed and altitude on their own but the boeing 777 said it was complicated and next it was so comprehensive that pilots lie lied on -- relied on it too testify. she expect is the auto makes -- ought missing a -- automation addiction may be a problem.

good morning. they will discuss their findings at an important meeting which just got underway. members of the federal safety board will release this report and they will focus on why they crashed and the ntsb will suggest ways to prevent similar crashes in the future. federal investigators said it was flying lower and slower and that it should have when it clipped the sea wall and at the edge of the runway they killed three passengers all of them were teens from china and 200 people were injured. an experienced pilot was at the controls of the jumbo jet but there was confusion about operating the auto mated flight control systems and the ntsb is expected to recommend changes to the area lines, airports and to the manufacturers and while

course have full coverage throughout that event. for now live in the newsroom, ktvu channel 2 morning news alex savage. and in february the department of transportation fined the airlines $500,000 for failing to assist crash victims' families. the department says the airline was slow to publicize a phone number for victim's families and did not contact them until five days after the crash. the department of transportation said they are the first airline to break a 1997 federal law which requires airlines to provide prompt antigen roll assist -- prompt assistance to those families of victims who crashed. it was the last year when that plane crashed at fso and the on- site ntsb investigation wrapped
