anyone from leaving a child or a pet in a car not even for a few short minutes, and sometimes people think if you crosswalk the window, it will make a difference. it really won't. don't leave them in the car. >> that's just about nothing. let's go to our chief meteorologist bill martin. the temperatures today not so bad, but coming up in a few day, that's a different story. >> yeah. even though temperatures is cool, 75, 80 degrees, you get in a closed car and the temperatures soar rapidly so that story is very on point. the temperatures outside today were in the mild range. temperatures tomorrow are going to come up. we're going to see temperatures tomorrow in the upper 80s, maybe a couple low 90s. there's the satellite loop. you just see the fog cleared from the coast. i guess that's kind of the big weather story right now is we had drizzle. we had a lot of drizzle in san francisco down towards half-moon bay. some areas got measurable precipitation at that point because you have .01 and .02 showing up. fog has cleared along the coast now not just because the inversion has gotten beyond a

thousand feet. it's gotten beyond 2,000 feet. it's so thick the fog is just vapor iegz and goes away. it's going to reform. temperatures are mild, and they will be mild as we head into the evening hours, but by tomorrow, you'll notice warmer temperatures, higher temperatures inland. so here's the fog along the coast now. it is trying to reform. it just looks like you can see the version trying to pinch down again out here as it flattens off the top of the stratus deck here. san jose, i think you'll be clear in the morning hours, but there's a good chance you'll see patchy fog north of there up towards fremont and hayward. here's the fog forecast for tomorrow morning. this is 3:00 a.m.. you see it is kind of around fremont. that's fog now, low clouds and fog. as you get into the morning hours, it burns back to the coast, and temperatures start to warm, further warming from what we saw today. there's the reds. those are 90s. you may have noticed started to creep this way a little bit. they were well into sacramento valley the last couple of days. now, they're coming this way.

authoritying in placer county arrested one of their own accused of an inappropriate relationship with an underage volunteer with the sheriff's department. placer county sheriff's deputy was arrested yesterday and faces four felony counts. the charges are in connection with an alleged sexual relationship he had with a 17-year-old female sheriff's office volunteer in 2011. this is not the first time he's been in the news. in 2010, his 4-year-old daughter shot and killed hearst with his gun in the family garage. he was also recognized by former governor in 2009. new at 5:00, a plan to upgrade wi-fi in schools gets the green light. the federal government today announced $2 billion program to
