the fire had been put out and no way and they are heading to this fire scene right now and we will check in with her in a little bit. and we have more information about a double shooting in vallejo. a couple of kids were getting put into a car and the children were not hurt but we learned a teen was shot and alex savage was at the station with an update on this investigation, alex in. the shooter drove by in the hallway a home and we understand the ages of those two children 4 and 6 were not

injured in this shooting. a 16-year-old boy was hit in the and they were struck several times. the shooting happened around 10:00 outside the block of williams drive. a car pulled up to the house and somebody inside started firing. nobody at the house has any idea why they would be targeted. >> the only information they had to provide to us was that it was possibly a dodge charger or dodge magnum when the gunfire erupted and it was last seen on williams drive. all parties involved claimed they knew absolutely nothing about who was shotting at the

house. >> the bullets struck the car and the least lead, again it was a black dodge charger seen leaving the scene and police will be back out there in that neighborhood to search for more witnesses. live in vallejo, alex savage, ktvu channel 2 morning news. police in oakland are searching for a man who killed somebody in broad daylight. that the shooting happened on east 17th street and send mare avenue. the man was pronounced dead at the scene and police have not released his name and it happened near west grand

said her father had a gun and was refusing to let her and six other families members leave their home. the family managed to escape and they got into a car. they finally arrested the armed suspect after he jumped into another car to chase his family. protesters already and up at the victory out reach church. today marks one week since the plane was shot down over a russian separatist stronghold over ukraine. they are sending troops to the crash site to secure the scene and there are 50 police officers and an international team is being formed to

fire crews knocked out a fire at davis immediate -- intermediate school. here is new information from firefighters. >> reporter: yes, we are here at davis middle school and behind me, you can see here at davis middle school and from the outside it doesn't look like it is much much dam. i want to go to some video we shot earlier when firefighters were here working on the fire. this fire broke out at 530 testimony them this morning and a neighbor reported she saw smoke and flames coming from the school and when firefighters arrived they did not discover any fire actually

in the classroom, instead they found it in the attic area and that's where firefighters believe it started. they were able to knock it down in about 25 minutes and at one point it was knocked out and it is now downgraded and nobody was inside. here is what passengers tell us when it comes to that investigation. >> we do extensive investigations and we do this in route to try to determine what the cause of the fire was. our preliminary investigation shows it doesn't seem suspicious. and the reason the captain said that, it doesn't seem to it be any kind of graffiti or tagging
