he was arrested. a suspected car thief wound up trapped beneath a pool house. officers spotted him driving this stolen car in antioch this morning. when they tried to stop him he sped off and ditched the car in oakley when it broke down. he hid under the pool house. it took police and fire crews an hour to get him out. >> within moments he went from stuck to handcuffed. police hosed him off, even let him have a drink before walking him over to paramedics to get checked out. the homeowner are glad police got their man without doing a lot of damage to the pool

started by a vehicle driving over dry grass. richmond considers a new chevron refinery prong. they will vote on a $1 billion modernization project. opponents and supporters are expected to speak at the meeting. chevron says newer, modern equipment will allow them to produce more. a 25-year-old stockton man who skipped town and tuberculosis treatment has been found. he comes from a part of mexico known for resistant strain of tuberculosis, he was booked on a misdemeanor misdemeanor charge, he will be send back after he was medically cleared.
