hello, everybody, i'm beth troutman. we're going to help get your week started with some great videos "right this minute." a family is walking along when a car slams through a fence and -- >> runs over that 4-year-old child. >> how mom jumps in to save her boy while dad takes care of the driver. bikers invade a man's property. >> these riders are saying that they're lost. >> what happens when one-arm jack's not buying it. she's dancing like no one's watching with moves -- >> you have never seen before. >> now meet the free spirit who's a viral video sensation.

>> so fast you can barely see. >> a blur. and a prankster and a food challenge guy compete over rice krispy treats. >> what he doesn't realize is i'm putting ex-lax into it. >> see the surprise twist that's painful to watch. i have some surveillance video from russia that is hard to watch. we're focused on what looks like a sidewalk. and eventually you'll see a family walking on the sidewalk together. and they have a small 4-year-old watch what happens. >> oh, my gosh! >> you see a black suv come barrelling toward that family. the car breaks through that little fence and also runs over that 4-year-old child. you see mom spring into action. she scoops up her child as dad runs up to the car and begins banging on the window, opening up the door. he's frantic, the driver, a 55-year-old man.

he says he was just trying to park his car. and he hit the gas instead of the brakes. panicked. and this situation happened. but watch as he begins to get out of the car. >> still not in park. come on, dude. >> the father begins punching him. begins beating at him. they do get emergency crews there quickly. the little boy was taken to the hospital. he did have some fractures in his arms and in his legs. he did have a concussion. the little boy spent three weeks in the hospital, but he's now back at home and seems to be doing just fine. the 55-year-old man who was behind the wheel, he faces a fine of up to 700 u.s. dollars and could potentially lose his license or lose his driving privileges for two years because of this incident. >> i mean, you know, clearly an accident. if you look at the driver after he got punched in the face, he's distraught. imagine doing that. you feel awful. you almost can't blame the dad either. >> you're just fired up. you just saw your son get run over. of course you're mad.

but i'm glad no one else got seriously hurt, and i'm glad the boy's going to be okay. i'll be honest, this is one of the most bizarre encounters i've seen in a while. looks like three guys on dirt bikes riding around in this grassy area. they encounter this guy, jack. he's got one arm. you can see right off the bat. for all we know this could be jack's property, right? you don't want people on dirt bikes riding through your land. that's my opinion. these riders are saying that they're lost. jack kind of doesn't want to hear it. he runs off, okay, leaves his rake. they throw his rake in the pond. he brings his wife back. they explain to the woman hey, we just were trying to explain to your husband that we were lost. she yells at the husband. you know, jack, knock it off. jack comes back now with a pitchfork. >> what happens to the guys? >> the rider with the gopro tries to explain again to the woman, sorry for that, we're just lost. looks like she's kind of saying all right, no problem. just get out of here. >> yak's looking for some sort of other thing to throw at these guys. >> they go one way.

they realize it's a dead end. they go back towards jack. this time he's got a different rake. >> ooh! >> jack hits them another time with that rake. and that's where these guys -- yes, they're being attacked by this man, but they start going around sort of chasing him. and then creating these big tire marks. look, see, they're doing that on purpose, creating big tire marks all throughout the property. he shouldn't probably hit the people, but they shouldn't probably do that either. i don't know who's right, who's wrong here. it's kind of upsetting. >> the dirt bikers in my opinion. >> you don't go on somebody else's property. you don't know where you're going, go back from where you came from. i question the reality. i wonder if this is set up to make some sort of viral video. >> i agree with you that the dirt bikers are wrong. i definitely think it's real. the guy looking at his face and how upset he is, you know. you're right, just go back the way you came and figure it out. >> no need to figure it out. >> again, they kept coming back. at some point you just leave.

when you're out on the road, you've got to pay attention every second that you're driving. i've got three videos that shows what happens when that attention span lapses. a couple of guys, northern south africa, out for a ride, they seem to be obeying all the rules of the road. focused on the guy ahead. and there's one more guy behind. watch what happens when they approach this intersection. >> oh, no, head first! >> all three of them pile up into that car. what happens? the vehicle here is trying to make a right-hand turn, but the cars behind don't notice, and they all start to pile up. and that's what causes the mercedes to turn to try and not to rear end that car that turns in front. >> oh, he was trying to avoid an accident. >> exactly. this guy here, the rider ahead, suffered the most. he had a broken arm, broken

ankle, fractured spine and a concussion. the guy we're riding with managed to get away with no broken bones but lots of bruises and whiplash. and then the third guy, the guy riding behind, got a big gash on his kneecap. omaha, nebraska, wide-open road. not much going on. see what this car does here? starts to go to the right. almost looks like it's about to park. then decides to whip a uu-ie. he starts to collect himself. doesn't look like he's injured thankfullyecause then he walks over to the car that itially pued o two lanes of traffic through residential neighborhoods here. the light is green but the car on the left lane not moving, just sitting there. just about causes an accident because that car is expecting the person in front to go. the person with the dash cam

thankfully avoiding the accident. but that officer noticed the inattention of the driver at the green light and instantly pulls up and pulls that car over. not every day you see a humpback whale flipping its fins waving at you. that's what these people saw in newfoundland in canada. >> do it again. he ate some bad fish. >> dude, i've never seen anything like this before. >> whoo! >> you see a couple of what looks like tour boats looking at this thing. what's really amazing is that the guy who shot the video says that the whale was practically upside down while it was doing this. but just waving, saying hi, wanted to be friendly. welcome them to newfoundland because i hear canadians are touristly friendly. >> canadian whale. >> friendly. >> he loves hockey, maple syrup.

>> as you can see, the guy shooting this video and people in the boat, very excited about what they're looking at. >> he's loving this. >> you're loving this, buddy. >> and then we go to the zoo in st. paul, minnesota. there is something being raised high in the air. that would be a gopro camera to take a look and see what the giraffes are up to. here comes the giraffe. then it's like oh, hey, there's something up here. you do get a good look inside the mouth of this giraffe. >> fun angle because you really get to see how huge these things are. we're right at head level and look how high up they are. >> and they have, like, 12 vertebrae. how is that possible? there should be 117. >> their big, black tongues come out. >> the gopro camera falls. the giraffe just walks away. like my job here is done. a little motocross adventure. >> not ten seconds after they start riding -- whoa! >> see what stops the ride nex
