9:30 am
troutman. if yop if you love great v tther the wep the weth "right this minute." when pop tazs him, he popped back up, so they taz him again. >> pops up again. >> the suspect who is one dirty jack in the box. wild dogs spot a creature. >> like a dinosaur. >> what happens when she wants them out of her territory. it's a san francisco tradition to swim from alkatraz.
9:31 am
>> now see who documented the escape from the rocks. >> thought i might get eaten by a shark. and the question of the day -- >> if you go 80 miles per hour, how long does it take you to go 80 miles. >> the dude debates you cannot miss. >> how long does it take to go 80 miles. >> eight hours. >> ten hours. >> at any point, does anybody understand what i'm saying? a game chaptured on camera, and it's not a fun game. in is in salt lake city, utah, and salt lake city police are trying to get this man, according to reports, 49-year-old steven carsello. see what happens? he goes down to the knees because police just tazed him. he pops back up. >> i'm sorry, i'm sorry.
9:32 am
>> you hear them deploy the tasers again. pops back up again. after he was tazed twice, watch what he does next. he jumps in the back of this work vehicle, which police say is definitely not his, and starts trying to fight police off with a ladder. >> why are you doing this? >> probably wondering why in the world are they chasing the guy? what's not caught on camera is the story behind the video. apparently, steven came out of the post office and started a fight with a man who wants to remain unnamed, and carsello broke off his car antenna and chased the guy around with that antenna. the guy who captured the video, rickey heat, decided to try to help. but carsello turned the anger to heat, and according to the reports, broke a bottle and threatened heat. that's why the cameras started
9:33 am
rolling. people call the police. police started chasing the guy down. now we're back to the back of the truck where carsello is fighting cops off with a ladder. >> just stop. >> but carsello tries to run. watch what he does. he gets down. he slides underneath this truck eluding police again. >> do they ever actually get him? >> yes, at the end of the video, you see it takes several officers to get this man under control. they pull him out from under the truck. they did arrest him, take him to jail, charged with aggravated assault, criminal misjustice, and resisting arrest. there's the mug shot. according to the reports, he claimed he 4 a knife and threatened to use it, and a lot of people using the scene unfold were surprised that police did not deploy more dangerous weapons. they said they found an her ball
9:34 am
mixture in his pocket producing an effect to marijuana, and that's why they believe he was belligerent. for many years, san francisco has celebrated escape from the rock. swimmers take the plunge in the icy cold bay area water and swim from alcatraz to the city. >> oh, boy, that does not sound fun at all. >> not a short swim. >> people like jordan cushions, a writer, took the swim because she thought, oh, you know, i'll train for it, be in shape, write about it, it'll be great. she documented on a gopro mounted on her own head, the thing from getting up in the morning to walking over to getting on the ferry to finally taking the jump. >> that looks like a cold day. >> she didn't train. she didn't prepare for this.
9:35 am
she decided to do it because, i mean, why not? >> a brave girl. >> to tell us more about this incredible adventure, we have jordan via skypeing right this minute all the way from san francisco. >> that's impressive. >> yeah, i can't believe you did it. did you dbt you would finish and make it to the end? >> i didn't think i was not going to finish because i couldn't swim it, but thought i was going to be eaten by a shark. >> what did it feel like jumping off the perfectly good boat into the bay? >> i've done it twice before. the other two times were the most gorgeous days you could ever imagine, like, sunny, beautiful, and felt exciting. this was -- it was cold. it was foggy. it was onminous. the jump is scary, just six feet from the ferry into the water, but you trail behind everybody, and the guy just like, all right, hold on to the goggles, swim away, go for it.
9:36 am
>> in the article, someone tapped you on your shoulder to notify you about your wet suit being inside out? did you fix it? >> it was embarrassing, and i took a picture, i did it, in the wet suit, and a stranger was, like, yeah, no. i was scared. it took so long to get into it. i thought, will i be able to get out of it and back into it before we get there, but, yeah, the minute i was on the boat, stripped straight down, wrestled back into it. i had it on the right way for the swim. >> what did you learn from the experience that you would want to share with people? >> i would definitely say to anybody who wants out there, open water swimming, or any kind of athletic endeavor, just go for it. it's pretty safe to say this black rhino is territorial.
9:37 am
there is a pack of wild dogs in the watering hole, and that rhino is, like, look, this is my private spa, get to stepping. >> that is awesome. would love to see them out in the wild. just so immense and powerful, like a dinosaur. >> yeah, it is like watching a dinosaur that moves like all that muscle and all that weight, and those dogs are, like, you know what, there's a bunch of us, but maybe one dog watches to let us know. they are not trying to take a sip of water. >> that rhino would squash them one by one if they tried to take command of this watering hole. >> there's plenty of room for everybody, but the black rhino ain't having none of it. >> crazy these animals exist. remarkable. our planet is remarkle. >> is that the water line? notice the two tones of water? is that where it's sitting from the water? >> we know how much they like water, and maybe it was having a quiet moment to itself,
9:38 am
interrupted because you don't think dogs are exactly quiet. >> so muscular and chisled, the brad pit of rhinos. >> slowest man loses. street luge is fun to watch, these are the streets in italy, testing out a prototype ford when things go sour. >> uh-oh! good-bye! you're in a ditch. >> oh, he's in a ditch. the leg is up there, like, look at you. >> his leg is hanging out up there because that's part of the reason why he crashed. he says he was favoring an injured ankle. he believes if the ankle was not injured, this would have been a wobble, would have been able to brake with two feet, but brakes with one foot not to hurt the left foot. he believes he had the wrong bushings set up on the prototype. >> i think he had the wrong
9:39 am
bushings. >> next time he tests something, he'll be in good health. how many times you ride a motorcycle you have to pay attention every second of the ride? what could go wrong here? wide open, perfect street, perfect day, but look what happens ahead. >> oh, what? >> oh, and the bike keeps going, and he takes out one of his buddies up ahead. that's zac. zac, just for a split second, didn't notice that his buddy up ahead started to slow down. you'll notice he grabs a fist full of brakes, bikes slide, wobbles, and that throws zac off, tumbled, and the bike is upright, but bounces off another rider, knocking that person off. neither guy was injured. >> looks like the motorcycle targeted that guy, oh, he's free, i can do what i've always wanted to do. cameras catch the action as bystanders run to the scene of this accident. >> to lift the vehicle up and
9:40 am
finally get her out. >> see the bystander heros next. and we've got the video of the tiny dog with something to say. >> does it more than once to prove the dog can actually talk.
9:41 am

foster farms chicken gets to the store in 48 hours or less. but it's 4 days to california. there's got to be another way. that could be any number of items, quite frankly. you know if this flight is less than 48 hours? i sure hope so. what? foster farms. celebrating 75 years. always natural. always fresh. join the celebration at take75.com diverted to minneapolis... i think my giblets are frozen. absolutely no time for the bystanders in this video to stop and think. they witnessed this accident. it happened to quickly that you
9:43 am
almost miss it. that suv in this moment has run over a mother that was on the scooter with her son and daughter. >> what? all three on the scooter? >> all three on the scooter, and as soon as the suv comes into the frame, you see the little girl behind the suv clearly in pain. >> oh, my goodness. >> but look here. that is the mother that is pinned under that suv. fortunately, all these bystanders that saw this immediately ran over and watch what they do because there's no way they are pulling the mother out without using their strength to lift the vehicle up and finally pull her out. >> wow, look at that. so scary, the risk of hurting someone more by moving them after a situation like this. >> they were able to pull every out from under the car, took them to the hospital. >> what happened? what caused the accident? >> if you notice, one of the witnesses opens the driver's
9:44 am
side door and out comes a very young driver. she apparently was still driving using our equivalent of a driver's permit. he w she was not a very experienced driver. reports say she was trying to turn into the alley and struck the mother and the kids. now, this incident happened in ukraine where artillery hit this playground next to the gorgeous church. you can clearly see where the artillery fire hit. you see debris everywhere. this video was actually captured last month. the reason i'm showing it to you because of this church. do you see that church? it's beautiful, right? it's been there for a while. this is what the church looks like now. >> oh. man. >> heart breaking. >> this video was just posted. that church also hit by artillery fire, and now it's engulfed in flames. there is absolutely nothing that is going to save this building. there's also a virtual tour
9:45 am
video that shows you how beautiful the interior of the church was. >> you won't believe what this dog can do. >> hello! >> that was a human saying it. and it does it more than once to prove this dog can actually talk. >> hello! >> you know what i love about the video, not that the dog can talk, but the big black dog is, like, what? not the only amazing dog. this is murphy, in a lake that looks very pleasant this time of year, on the dock, throws a golf ball to find. and what is amazing to me in this video is that the ball is at the bottom of the lake, but the dog is able to see it and fetch it. >> what? >> yeah, you see the ball there
9:46 am
at the bottom, and murphy's able to find it. >> that's awesome. in incredible, watching him swim underwater is a cool sight. >> and to spot is and bring it back up. the race car driver's pushing it hard for the crowd, and that's not a good thing. >> you see a lot of flames blowing out the back of this thing. >> see what happens next. and the video of two guys who can't quite figure it out. at any point does anyone understand what i'm saying? >> see what's so funny next on "right this minute."

9:51 am
head on back to the states for a little mud racing. beaver creek off road park. check this out. these guys run what they run, old beater trucks that have plenty of power beneath them. >> this is, like, mud roller derby. >> yeah. >> awesome part is you can drive these things without worrying whether you crash them or dent them. you go, and if you crash them, who cares. >> it would be fun to run down the track through the mud puddles and roll around in it a little bit. >> i'd follow you in the truck. the million dollar question these days, or at least the question that is incredible difficult to answer is -- >> if you go 80 miles per hour, how long does it take you to go 80 miles?
9:52 am
>> there's so many of these on line. two guys that -- the third guy holds the camera recording this priceless video, and they are puzzled. >> how long does it take to go 80 miles? >> eight hours. >> guess number one, eight hours. >> maybe he reversed the math. >> ten hours. >> you think ten hours? >> ten hours. >> if you go 80 miles per hour -- >> could be six. ? 80 miles per hour is one of the things you hear it suchb, the speed limit is 75 miles per hour, means miles per hour. >> you go 80 miles per hour, it takes one hour. >> he gave him the answer, and he's still puzzled. >> how long does it take? >> eight hours. >> no, man. it takes, like, a minute and a half. >> he goes from ten hours to a min and a half?
