hundreds added their voices to the protest saturday, marching up florissan, and a growing number of them are white. it's our state too,. we want to show support and we're watching and we're giving hope more than anything. >> reporter: march began on the exact spot where exactly one week ago today, mike brown was killed. as the group huddled to pray in the pouring rain, 40 fbi agents were in the background, canvassing the neighborhood hoping to find new witnesses who may be afraid to talk to local police. meanwhile reverend jackson is still puzzling over the way local police reacted to last night's looting. they are going to militarized until they look excessive and they come meaning that the people are left exposed. so they have to have a medium in between, those who must obey the law and have moral authority. >> reporter:

after protesters upset over that shooting in ferguson vandalized buildings. the crowd gathered frank ogawa plaza and they marched through downtown streets. it was mostly peaceful until police say a small group turned violent, smashing windows and spraying graffiti on a number of businesses along telegraph avenue. oakland police arrested two people during the demonstration that wrapped up last night in berkeley. oakland police say several officers were pepper-sprayed by people in the crowd and that one of their officers was assaulted by demonstrators as he attempted to make an arrest. the officer was taken to the hospital and later released. the police shooting in ferguson is a reminder to some in the north bay of an officer- involved shooting last year and coming up at 10:30 the recent decision by the sheriff's department that led to this protest. protesters carried a palestinian flag where an israeli ship was set to dock. at this hour that ship is off the coast of monterey and protesters are now claiming a

victory saying it was their action ises that kept that ship from docking in afternoon this afternoon as scheduled. demonstrators say today's planned protest was in response to a call from the palestinian general federation trade union to take action in solidarity with the people of gaza. they say the efforts to block israeli ships is part of a larger campaign to organize boycotts, sanctions and encourage divestment from israel. >> we want to isolate zionism and isolate israeli apartheid so it will fall in palestine as well. >> the ship is now expected to dock tomorrow evening. protesters say they plan to regroup to try to protester that from happening. tomorrow israeli and palestinian negotiators are expected to meet again in cairo in an effort to hammer out a

comprehensive agreement to end the war in gaza. the current cease-fire is set to remain in effect through monday. the united nations says the halt in the fighting is is a louing workers to search for and remove unexploded ordnance. six people were killed auld another six injured when one device detonated earlier this week. fireworks are blamed for spacking half a dozen small fires in oakland. those fires were reported around 10:15 this morning between park boulevard and fruitvale avenue. smoke and flames could be seen all along the interstate. witnesses say they saw for the male suspects shooting off fireworks from a car. one man who lives nearby called for help when he saw the flames. >> i saw huge flames towering above the trees in cyclone fashion, and i immediately called 911. >> no one was hurt and no buildings were threatened or damaged the. the chp is hoping that someone can help identify the vehicle

that was involved. a crash in fremont today killed one person and seriously injured two others. the crash happened on the southbound lanes of interstate 880 near dickson landing road this afternoon. a flatbed truck and two passengers vehicles collided. ktvu reporter azenith smith saw the incident and sent this picture, rasc was cleared by about 4:00 p.m. >> traffic governor rick perry came out swinging today, denouncing the indictment charging him with abuse of power. a grand jury indicted perry yesterday on two felony counts stemming from his veto of $8.5 million to the state's office of public integrity. a special prosecutor in the case says that perry wanted travis county district attorney rosemarylemberg who runs the unit to resign after her arrest for drunken driver. the grand jury charged perry with coercing a public servant.

apparently gave them a deadline to convert to islam and when they failed do so they were killed. the violence in agriculture has displaced an estimated 1.2 million people. the united kingdom, united states and germany and oath countries are delivering humanitarian aid and other supplies to the refugees. the area includes a 40-mile long stretch along the tigris river and a source of water and electricity for much of iraq. in a worst-case scenario they are worried that militant will destroy that dam, flooding towns and cities downstream. it looks as if it will be several more weeks before the american sergeant held captive by the damage for five years will find out if he faces military prosecution. sergeant bogbergdahl was released in exchange poirot release of five senior taliban officials that happened last may. an army general is now investigating bergdahl's 2009 capture in iraq. the germ was scheduled to turn had in his investigation

towards the bay bridge and fact that we can see the bay bridge is evidence that we have mostly clear skies -- at least not that dense fog, but a few patches already sneaking into the region. the latest on the mapping system with the low clouds had youing the cloud from isn't cruz to san francisco and santa rosa and approaching parts of north bay and closer inspection towards ocean beach and golden gate park, you can see the overcast for this part of region towards the sunset district as well. the fog will be increasing in the short-term while we're going to bed. over the next 4-8 hours and, in fact, here is our forecast model showing clouds near the coast and around the bay. i think we'll have more coverage around the bay itself. so if i could adjust the forecast would probably expand the low cloud deck pushing across the region. no big chaics in the short-term forecast, but i'm tracking the chance for showers on the long- range weather maps coming up at 10:35. we have a small plane crash to tell us about in el dorado

on a wild chase. about midnight police say the 22-year-old stole the car from downtown san diego and then drove erratically on interstate 5. after receiving reports police began to chase her and putting out spike-strips, but the woman kept going and rammed three police vehicles before finally giving up of she was arrested on suspicion of drunk- driving, grand theft and other felony charges. it turns out that disastrous sinkhole at the national corvette museum in kentucky earlier this year has something of a silver lining. it's becoming a draw for tourists. this is the surveillance video you might remember taken back in february when the floor gave way beneath a number of exotic, very nice, expensive cars at bowling green museum. the sinkhole caused more than a million dollars in damage, but a big draw to the museum, seeing a 63% increase since the accident. >> we seen the

. well, we've basis point locked in quiet weather pattern over past few day, low clouds a fog and clearing back towards coast. right now amtrak another surge of the fog redeveloping offshore. a steady onshore breeze that helps to transport low clouds across the bay and possibly patches inland as well. here is a closer look at the fog coverage, approaching pacifica and san francisco and out towards the sunset strict. can you pick out some of the overcast that continues to increase in coverage. right now a few patches into the north bay as well. current numbers right now 56 degrees in sand rose, san jose 65 and livermore in the upper 60s, andoch 70 and oakland checking in at 61 degrees at last check. for tonight, clear skies, fog will continue to be on the increase. here is our live camera looking out towards the bay bridge. for the most part we've partly
