the forecast highs tomorrow oranges are 80s so there's no 90s in here. you don't see red. kind of a mild forecast but slightly warmer than it was today. 85 in vacaville, 80 in fairfield. air quality loves this. it's a good air quality pattern because of the strong wind and crisp air. it's breezy out there now that i point out the winds 35 miles per hour. pretty breezy. that continues tonight. this patterns continues in the five day pretty much all week. so a lower fire danger. good air quality but temperatures slightly cooler than you might expect. and pretty chilly right along the coast. drizzle tomorrow morning. might get a little wet roadways on the great highway around pacifica. then slightly warm on thursday but you notice it's not a big bump up in temperatures at all. i mean it's just kind of a mild pattern. so as i pointed out last week which was a pattern similar to this we haven't seen a lot of fires, brush fires with this pattern. that's the upshot and the air quality is going to seep a spare the air day with this pattern but you're not going to see the 90s either.

>> bill, thank you. musicians seeking the exposure of the super bowl may have to play to pay. that's what the nfl is telling potential super bowl performers. the nfl is asking the artists to fork over their earnings from postsuper bowl tour. the idea was apparently not well received by the groups. katy perry, cold play and rihanna were those in the talks. >> pay to play. and finally we're not going to be talking about ballplayers. they usually deny looking at the out of town scoreboards.

but the a's trailing the angels. this is what's been missing. the clutch hit. and coco has been doing it. 1-1 game in the fourth. two outs when he clears the bases with a triple and suddenly it's a 4-1 game. maybe coco is back. scott cashner goes 6 innings, four hits one run struck out six. gets the victory a career best 14th of the season. and a little cherry on top, josh redding just a powering shot. gone. baby gone. the two run shot and the a's 6- 2 but they still trail the angels by two games. what started out as a nice pleasant balmy evening at wrigley field has turned into a soggy almost comedic marathon rain delay that they are still in. look at how nice it was early in the evening. you would never know it. it's not all good for the giants. andny rizzo early in the game.

young slugger for the kubs -- cubs goes out of the yard and i mean over the bleachers. then the rain comes and you see how heavy. this is the second time that wrigley field ground crew put the tarp on. they messed it up the first time. angel pagan having fun with the the fans. it is 11:00 in chicago and they are still delayed in the 8th inning right now. 5th inning excuse me and the a's the giants are trailing 2- 0. sports illustrated has been around for a long time but it's the first time the magazine has this to talk about. we'll tell you about that and see if seth curry of the the warriors stands to his remarks last week comparing himself to lebron james. sports part two next.
10:56 pm
nba fans holding their breath as many of the favorite players get to take the floor on basketball's version of the world cup. no one wants of course another paul george injury type team usa. part of that team the warriors own steph curry who of course was asked about his comments of last week when he said he was actually a better offensive player than lebron james. >> if there's anybody who's asked that question they probably would have the same answer. it's just how we think and how
10:57 pm
we have to you know that mentality we have to have when we're on the court. it's no disrespect to lebron. it's obviously the best player in the world, but i have confidence that in a one on one game i can beat him. >> think of all the sports illustrated magazines over the years. and never has a little leaguer graced the cover. and this year it's mone. 13years old that was also the first girl to drive in a run at the plate. an inspiration to all but she says baseball is probably not in her future. she wants to play for that perennial basketball power uconn. there you go. congratulations to her. >> maybe she'll make the cover as a basketball player as well. >> i wouldn't put anything against her. >> 70-mile an hour fast ball at 13. >> looking good. >> thank you mark. and thank you for choosing ktvu channel 2 news tonight.

what are you doing with those? luke and i are doing a recycling drive. if we collect enough bottles, they build a school in africa. luke: wouldn't that be so cool to go to a school made out of bottles? that would certainly be a special school. did you hear what i said, parents -- "special school"? okay. nobody make a big deal about it, but i just broke up with dylan. no! oh, my gosh. are you okay, honey? yeah, i'm fine. i just -- i need to date someone who has a clue, instead of an idiot who bangs his head every time he rides his bike out of his garage. every time. i'm sorry, honey. i'm sorry for both of you. i'll have to text him later. mm. i got to jump in the shower. i'm gonna be late. where are you going? i'm going to meet my friend valerie. i haven't seen her in 15 years.
