highway 140 is shut down. yosemite rangers say ground crews and aircraft are fighting the fire. we are in contact with cal fire and will give you an update in 15 minutes. the terrifying ordeal when a young woman wakes up to a stranger in her bedroom. a man broke into her home and made his way into her daughter's bedroom. in willow glen neighborhood. >> she hopes this will be a cautionary tale, saying even in a nice neighbor and in your home, you can become the victim of crime. >> my daughter was terrified and waking up to her blood curdling screams was scary. >> she's gotten little sleep since a prowler broke into her home.

business. and used the blowers. >> three people went to the hospital with complaints of headaches and throat irritation. a gas valve was stuck in the open position causing the leak. rape charges filed against the uc berkeley student, one of three cases reported last month near campus. the man faces one count of rape by the use of drugs. he was arrested last week. he's flee on $100,000 bail and has not andsterred a plea -- has not entered a plea. no charges have been filed yet. there's new developments in the case of a veteran morgan hill teacher facing molestation accusations.

john lloyd is accused of assaulting two students. new details revealed in court documents. >> two of hit's students, 110 and another 12. allege lloyd inappropriately touched him. lloyd's attorney say he's innocent. >> i expected there would be one current fifth grade student, that was the allegation i understood. it's a surprise they are talking about another victim. >> defense attorney larry beagle says he was caught off guard when prosecutors announced a second victim announcing the elementary teacher inappropriately touched her in the classroom. the judge denied bail. standard floor since two

victims alleged sexual assault. >> according to court documents, a 10-year-old student alleged lloyd touched her upper and lower body last month and made her sexual assaulty -- swallow touch him. the teacher told her not to touch him and he enjoyed it. court documents reveal a former teacher came forward after loys -- lloyds arrest and lloyd rubbed her chest. lloyd's attorney is asking to public to refrain from judgment saying colleagues of the teacher say lloyd is a good guy. >> that's what i've been told. talked to his colleagues, outstanding teacher, active in the union. i'm unaware of any complaints

made about him. >> lloyd is due back in court on october 17th where he's expected to make a plea. he's not allowed anywhere near the victims. new details in the arrest of a practice reason county school head master. 21-year-old britney hall was in court, she and woody price were arrested friday. they found the pair in a hyatt hotel in rancho cordovo. hall was unresponsive and had to be revived. hall remains in custody on $75,000 bail. price had been the head master of the branson school since 2006. new information about corrosion concerns for the eastern span of the bay bridge. at tomorrow's meeting the scientist will discuss the

water found at the base of the tower. initial reports indicate that the water is rainwater. which should not cause unexpected or excessive corrosion. that water has been removed. more details will be revealed tomorrow. twitter is suing the fbi the department of justice to reveal more fog about government requests. twitter filed the lawsuit today. the company wants to publish a transparency report. but the u.s. government won't allow it because it involves national security. twitter says it's allowed to release the information. we're learning how much money the beverage industry is pouring n to defeet measures.

. more on the breaking news, a cal fire air tanker disappeared while battling a wildfire. we're hearing it has crashed. tom is in the newsroom with the latest. >> two reliable sources say a cal fire s 2 tanker fighting the dog rock fire crashed. this is a common airplane you see fighting fires. the s 2 is one of 23 tankers in the cal fire fleet. carries 1200 gallons of fire retardant. they were built for the navy

and converted to drop fire retardant. all the fighters have worked all season long hard. they are very well maintained, the fact of the matter is things can from time to time in turbulence and tight turns break, the turbulance is so significant it's a rough ride. another issue that comes up is fighter fatigue. ground crews are sent to the area to see if it's the aircraft and if the pilot survived. we know aloon leeanne s 2 cal fire tanker -- a two fire crashed. >> we don't know where the tanker is based. we do not. the 49ers are meeting with the public to discuss the

happen again. water board revealed 20% of local water agencies have not im%ed water restrictions. even without the controls the board reported state wide water savings jumped to 11.5%. in some places there's not any water left to save. >> people -- there's communities people are batting out of buckets. they have so letter water or going to the store. folks putting in vending machines. >> in southern california a program that pays people to rip out the lawns has paid out $43 million. at the same time ordinary californias are using less and less water. more than half the water officials in california are using more and more. according to the report, water bills show three officials each

used more than 1 million gallons of water at their homes. faulty sprinkler systems or swimming pools are the extra water consumption. it's cooler, these were the highs recorded. and many are the bigger airports. 87, 83, concord 90. temperature down tomorrow. checking the fire zone, temperature there are in the 70s, and low 80s with light winds, humidity is like 25%. the fire in yosemite is not a weather concern. what is a concern it's a drought. anything takes off. we'll keep you posted on the fire. we have fog now working its way across san francisco, you will see why, over the ballpark

soon, coming in here, the fog shooting across the bay, working toward the east bay, oakland and alameda and berkeley. you see the yellows and greens representing the cool moist air pushing inland. you will see it tomorrow morning. stops at the coast, a finger gets over toward the livermore valley. there will be more, it's steeper, tomorrow more fog, we're seeing more fog. cooler tomorrow and cooler wednesday, thursday and warmer as we head into the bay area weekend. a warming trend start on the the weekend. temperatures have steadily but slowly declining. friday the curve will go the other way. temperature tomorrow, 93 in vacaville, 90 in fairfield, a nice looking day. fire danger is down.

but as we head into saturday night sunday, we won't see a red-flag warning, temperature back in the 90s with dry conditions and slight offshore winds. saturday night to sunday. sunday will be the hottest day. we'll see mid-90's. you get the idea. temperature trending down, we start talking about fire. the fire up in yosemite, checking the observations, it's not a nasty condition. but we are in epic drought. that's a concern. it's dry up there. the nationals and giants are starting their game four playoff match up at at&t park. >> clayton kershaw tried to extend the dodgers season against the cardinals.
