92 interchange. just a little bit of yellow on the map here san mateo bridge looks good. 6:01 let's go back to the desk. we have breaking news right now. we are hearing reports of a domestic disturbance that may include gunfire. the police are everywhere right now on nitoma street in the south of market area. brian flores just got there a couple moments ago. >> reporter: we are on 7th and natoma. 500 block of natoma. they responded to a domestic violence call. they confirmed this was a shooting. we are still working to gather more information whether there was any victims to the shooting or if anyone was shot this morning. police have quarantined off

this area. probably about a block and a half of the 500 block of natoma. there was an earlier fire engine here but that person has taken off. that crew has taken off. but again we are working to gather more information this morning. we will bring you more information throughout the morning. live in san francisco brian flores ktvu channel 2 news. time is 6:03. police in palo alto on high alert. they are investigating three indecent exposure incidents within the past week. janine de la vega is joining us live mow. you are at the scene of the latest flashing incident. what happened? >> reporter: police are telling me that they have asked the detectives to temporarily drop as their nonpriority investigative cases. instead those detectives are being redirected to investigate the leads. this is a top priority for them. here is the map showing the spots where a man has exposed

himself. while the latest incident happened in south palo alto, the other two occurred on the north side. the first case happened late monday afternoon. a 14-year-old was walking to the private school when a man in his late 20s or early 30s pulled up next to her. he had his pants down and touching himself staring at her. this sketch was released of the suspect by police and authorities believe the same man that approached a ten-year- old girl then next night that was walking her dogs near byron and seal avenue which is about a half a mile away from monday's incident. the second case the suspect was driving an older white volvo and asked the girl if she wanted to touch him. >> it raises a lot of concerns because there is a lot of school children that bicycle and walk to school. >> i hope they find this man and bring some peace back to the neighborhood. >> reporter: the flasher struck again yesterday afternoon. a woman in her 20s was riding her bike when a man pulled up

in a newer white bmw, asked for directions and exposed himself. the suspect in this case is said to be in his 40s and 50s. police have increased their patrols and focusing on routes near schools. here's another look at the suspect from the first two cases. police are not sure if the same man is preying on women or if they are dealing with two different flashers. but they are working on a second police sketch from the incident yesterday. reporting live from palo alto janine de la vega ktvu channel 2 news. a fremont mother is facing felony charges in connection to a dui crash that killed a 17- year-old boy. let teenagers including jason park drink after her house a year ago. park was killed instantly when his best friend crashed into a tree. yousuf was arrested. she was released after paying $40,000 bail.

$30,000. tomorrow the president will be holding a closed event here at san francisco's city hall. he of course has spent a lot of time in california lately trying to bring in as much money as possible ahead of the midterm elections with democrats hoping to regain control of the house which appears to be an uphill battle. yesterday during his visit to l.a., the president attended a private fundraiser at the home of actress gwyneth paltrow. she was said to be gushing over the president. he also dropped by a campaign office down there for congressional candidate ted lou praising volunteers there. and despite that visit, one analyst said he will probably be laying low. >> on the one hand keeping his distance so he is not bringing down democratic candidates that are trying to stay away from the association with him and at the same time raising enormous amount of money. >> reporter: while he is in san

francisco, the president doesn't have any public events on his schedule. but there is a chance you may run into him around the city. back in 2012 the president made this unscheduled stop at a chinese restaurant to grab a quick bite to seat and say hi to supporters there. air force one touches down at 3:30 this afternoon at sfo and of course as usual you can expect those rolling street closures and quite a bit of traffic as the presidential motorcade makes its way into the city. alex savidge ktvu channel 2 news. time is 6:08. san jose city councilman is being sued by a former chief of staff. accusing him of sexual harassment. a former top aid claims the councilman called her vulgar names. causing emotional distress for her. he denies the allegation. he say there is is no merit to

it. he was a mayoral candidate in san jose's election in june but he did not advance beyond that. san bruno police are trying to determine if a shooting this week is tied to violent street games. two young men were injured during a gunfire. both shooting victims are expected to survive. police say the two men were targeted and the shooting may be gang related. investigators are searching for four men seen speeding away from the scene in a dark colored car. your time is 6:09. today san francisco police will tell us the name of the police officer who shot and killed a car burglary suspect tuesday night. now police chief greg suhr talk about the meeting last night. on tuesday night police say they were patrolling the area around at & t park because of the big crowd going to the giants play off game. police officers say they saw three men break into a car. now chief sur says 26-year-old oh shape evans had a gun. and he refused an order to drop

it. now evans' family they were there at last nights meeting and raised questions about the police version of what happened. >> it causes us grave concern to really question the police narrative that they want us to believe. so we are definitely going into look into his. this seems very suspicious. >> police say that evans pointed a gun at the police officer forcing that officer to shoot back in self-defense. killing evans' and wounding another burglary suspect. a 28-year-old from san leandro. a third burglary suspect was captured trying to escape. health officials in the bay area now confirming that the first case of enterovirus in santa clara county. it was a child that was hospitalized but has now recovered. according to the cdc the d ever 68 strain of the virus is responsible for four deaths in the u.s. and more than 650 people have become ill.

mostly children. here in the bay area cases have been reported in solan owe, contra costa, alameda, santa cruz, and san francisco counties. there is mixed news regarding the ebola epidemic this morning. a sheriff sergeant in dallas has tested negative. he went to the hospital after feeling sick this week as he had just infected the apartment of the liberia man that died of the ebola virus in texas. here in the bay area hospitals such as john muir medical centers have posted ebola alert signs outside of emergency rooms. doctors and nurses have been rehearsing on what to do if a suspected ebola patient comes

city's park side neighborhood. the ambulance arrived in 18 minutes after it was dispatched. that is eight minutes later than the department's target goal. three men have been arrested in the death of a young san jose father killed by a stray bullet. they were arrested for a drive by shooting on september 27th that killed 24-year-old richard watkins. police say watkins was shot in front of his home while he waited for a relative to park. it's not clear why that person was not hurt. the suspects are being held at the santa clara county jail on murder carjacks. time is 6:18. let's check in with sal. i know it's friday. we have friday light on 280? >> so far it doesn't look good. we will take whatever we can get. 280 northbound through downtown is looking good. right from the downtown area all the way to the valley. i want to see the entire valley

here. you can see traffic is off to a good start. late road work here and there is not causing any big delays. that will change most likely. southbound 880 is a little slow in hayward but it's much better than it was. so hopefully we will have a little bit of friday light today on the bay area commute. when but get to the toll plaza, that is pretty much jam packed. this is a 15-20 minute drive time across into san francisco. trains catching a train into the city. cal train and bart are reported on time. 6:19 let's go to steve. thank you, sal. let's take a look across the pacific here. was a super typhoon a couple days ago. has been downgraded. but still equivalent of a cat four gore 3. winds around 144 miles an hour. it is weakening a little bit but it's going right over okinawa tonight. they are a day ahead of us. looking 15-20 inches of rain. it will cause a lot of damage. and then it's tracking toward

japan over the weekend. so by what looks like late sunday into early monday and tuesday it will billion over japan. monday is a national holiday. that may help a little bit there. we will keep an eye on this as it moves north over japan. we will see what happens to the energy when it turns extra tropical and falls apart. but then moves across to the pacific. that can be a lot of energy coming downstream. as in here. maybe. we have a lot of fog out there. there will be a high pressure system coming in that will give us a north wind. until then we have a westerly breeze. 50s on the temps here. hayward always runs warm. half-moon bay 57. alamo down to 51 degrees. upper 50s. brentwood at 58. 57 lafayette and orinda. now a couple blocks away somebody is a little cooler. southwest 16 rat the delta.

a westerly component. it's a sea breeze. has been 8 or 9 days. temps were warm to hot for a long time. they have cooled down considerably. speaking of cool down. 24 up in bismarck. 43 up in omaha. very cool there. the line of rain and severe weather stretches across the nation's midsection including st. louis. but tomorrow looks pretty good. it looks like this line the forecast takes that line of clouds and rain and sends it a little bit south. it will be close but over all looks better for saturday. we have issues with fog if you like that. that is good. there will be another issue and that will be with a north wind. that means higher elevations late saturday, sunday into early monday. we'll have a fire weather watch out for that. for that north breeze. drizzle, sprinkle, a little cooler inland today. we will bottom out on those temps today. the extended outlook does have a warmup on the weekend.

down. but still 25 minutes is not out of the ordinary to get into san francisco. there are no problems on the bridge. highway 4 also looks a little better but there is slow traffic on highway 4 westbound at bay bridge coming over to concord. but for the most part contra costa county traffic is doing well. let's go back to the desk. new information on the breaking news from san francisco we just told you about. police have now told us one person was killed, another was critically injured in an early morning shooting. it happened until the south of market district. brian flores is right there. the medical examiner is there as well. >> reporter: the medical examiner arrived just 15 minutes ago. one person shot and killed. and then at the scene another person taken to san francisco general with life threatening injuries. police have not talked to us on camera yet. from what we understand, this happened shortly after 5:00

and a cell phone. the victim was bound for several hours but was not hurt. investigators say the robbers may have driven off in a dark colored four-door sedan. administrators are investigating a disturbing discovery on campus. a noose hanging from a tree. a school safety officer found a rope tied to a tree in school. investigators are look into incident as a possible hate crime. >> it should be taken way more seriously. they should do a real investigation. that is something that shouldn't be played with. >> in my opinion i feel angry. at the same time sad. >> on wednesday the school sent a notice home to students detailing the discovery. school assemblies and classroom discussions are in the works. and a staff meeting addressing the issue is set for monday. investigators are also looking into whether the noose may have been a suicide attempt.

a 21-year-old man that was not a berkeley high student hung himself at the school earlier this year. time is 6:36. president obama arrives this afternoon here in the bay area. he will be raising money for democratic candidates again. alex savidge is live in san francisco now with the reason political experts say the president is raising money for the candidates but he's not appearing with them very often before the november election. good morning, alex. >> reporter: good morning, to you. the president is trying to give democrats a boost ahead of the midterm elections next month. to that end will be attending a fundraiser later on tonight. some of the guests ha will on hand will shell out as much as $30,000 to get inside. and tomorrow the president will hold another fundraiser. he spent a lot of time in california and a lot of time fund raising all across the country. one political analyst we talked to said the president has held more than 80 fundraisers.

has spiraled so out of control here that the staff has had to beef up security. the superintendent has said that it's just a small group of students that are causing the problem but some parents are wondering why they haven't done more to discipline them. you may remember the cell phone video. fights breaking out at a nearby shopping center and some fast food managers decided to close their doors right after school because of it. now teachers are saying that violence is happening on campus. some say they are the target of unruly students. others have gotten hurt while trying to break up fights. >> we have had a few teachers that have let because of safety concerns and discipline issues. >> i'm scared. sometimes i don't want to drop my kid off at school. >> one parent says teens are gambling and using drugs.
