with a 3-2 lead michael morse just his fourth postseason at- bat. he's had the injury to deal with but he just drills one down the left field line. over and out. and check him out he looks like carlton fisk making sure that ball stays fair down the line. then we go to the top of the 8th inning. big problems for the giants. and colton wong looked like he had the save. they wind up getting out of the inning. that brought us to the bottom of the 9th inning and the first walk off postseason home run for the giants since dusty rhodes in the 1954 world series. giants win it 6-3. they are going to the world series against the kansas city royals. i'm joined with scott reiss.

veteran move. i sent him in and i stayed out here. >> i left the jacket so i would look good for tv. >> these celebrations never get old. >> the amazing thing about this group is they play on the field like they've been here. the difference is hunter pence is usually the one holding court. today instead of holding court he called on ishikawa. and ishi started the chant we're going to the championship. i got to talk to ishi and asked him is there really magic in this team? >> i don't know if it's magic or every single guy buy spwaos

the never quit, -- buys into the never quit, never say die attitude. >> to win it on a homer, to hit one and go ahead. to hit another one to tie it. i mean for a team that they were saying about the power outage. the power outage. we flipped the switch at the right time. >> everybody says we don't hit homers. the media was complaining about it. what happened to that. what are they going to say now? >> that's what the game is about. it's not about hitting a homer to win the game and throwing a shut out. it's about scoring more runs than the other team. if you find ways to score runs. >> there you go. the sporting life out here at at&t park. next up, kansas city here we come. >> thank you frank. >> thank goodness for those goggles they needed those tonight. >> we're going to be hearing that kansas city here we come. >> thank you for joining us
