temperature 72 degrees at first pitch. the remainder of the series you can see saturday changing conditions and sunday partly cloudy skies. saturday will be the big concern here with the chance of showers and gusty winds out there. latest forecast models boosting those chances, so tomorrow night relatively quiet throughout the bay area. saturday morning 7:00 the first frontal wave pushes into the region and then here we go 5:00. look up to the north of san francisco. some more rain showers possibly developing gradually drifting to the south as well. this could be changing we'll continue to keep an eye on the forecast models. we're keeping an eye to our saturday forecast. new video out of dublin tonight be half a dozen people were injure when a car crashed into a taqueria. you can see the black sedan inside the damaged building. six people suffered injuries including the driver of that car. two of the injured were taken to the hospital. a firefighter told ktvu everyone is expected to survive. the crash happened around 6:15

this evening at the taqueria at village parkway. the fireman we talked with didn't want to speculate on the cause of the crash. he did tell us it appeared to have been an accident. there's a new case of ebola in the united states. this time the patient is in new york city. he is the fourth person now to test positive while here in the united states. 33-year-old craig spencer returned to the u.s. 10 days ago after working as a physician in guinea with a charity group called doctors without borders. he was taken to a hospital in manhattan after he was isolated for running a fever at 103. at one point spencer traveled by subway to a bowling alley in brooklyn then took a taxi home. at least three people he had contact with are now in quarantine. a bay area doctor who's volunteered twice overseas says participants go and then return from foreign missions well aware of the potential risks.

about a woman who will be sitting with her husband in the bleachers tomorrow night. this has been a difficult year for her, she was diagnosed with cancer and one of the hardest things was to tell her children. it was anise who lives in new york who surprised her with the tickets. >> reporter: frank the 45-year- old is a huge giants fan as you can tell by the banner that's hanging from her home. she tells me tomorrow will be a very special day after a difficult and painful journey. >> thanks again for the tickets michelle. >> you're welcome. >> will you guys be watching the game? >> i think we're going to try. >> reporter: there's joy in ilenelo's voice as she speaks with her niece by skype. >> are you ready for the game? >> i have my giants gear already. >> reporter: she received a pair of tickets to her first world series from michelle tran. who now lives in new york.

six weeks ago, she received her diagnosis. stage two breast cancer. >> i wasn't really angry. i didn't say why me. just it happens and let's just deal with it. >> reporter: it was on one of these walks she told her daughter tristen. a difficult task especially since the 9-year-old has a friend who lost her mother to cancer. to help her children cope, lauren involved them in her battle. they helped cut her hay. >> it -- they helped her cut her hair. >> i thought it was fine, because she's going to survive. >> reporter: it'll be six months before she can have reconstructive surgery. >> it's just liveing with the unknown. it's scary. but, it'll be okay.

her neighbors got together and put together a schedule to bring her meals. and they've been doing that since september. ilene also told me she is stunned with how much support she and her family have gotten. it also extends the pack that would allow the a's to buy land set aside for a ballpark if the move is some day approved. the deal comes just three months after the a's and oakland agreed to a lease extension allowing the team to remain at o.co coliseum for up to 10 years. union workers for a garbage company waste management are planning a streak tomorrow in the east bay. 134 workers say they will picket starting at 4:00 a.m. the long shore workers union says it has a problem with a company manager. the workers claim that manager has been disrespectful and discriminatory against them. the union says many of the workers are immigrants who

speak spanish. detectives in fremont are asking for the public's help tonight in finding a robber who snatched a gold chain from an elderly woman. here's a picture of that suspected robber. police identify him as 20-year- old deondre mcleod of hayward. he and an accomplice robbed and elderly couple. officers say mcleod was carrying a gun. they say he may be staying in oakland or hayward and is considered armed and dangerous. in san francisco concerns tonight about a dangerous crosswalk that happens to be right in front of city hall. this morning, a city worker was hit and killed by a tour bus. ktvu's paul chambers spoke to several people who say it easily could have been one of them. >> witnesses say it was in this crosswalk. outside san francisco city hall that a woman in her 60s who worked in the controller's office was struck and killed by a vehicle. >> everybody is saddened because she passed away. it could have been any of us.

going to lunch and sometimes the cars don't stop. in front of city hall. >> this is a high traffic area for pedestrians as well as vehicles. you can see the crosswalk is clearly marked with wide stripes and neon signs. yet after 11:00 this morning, the woman who witnesses say had the right of way lost her life in front of city hall. now people say they want something done. >> i would like to see a signal light. it's sad that it's a city and county worker. it's very sad. it touched my heart. >> reporter: tonight mayor ed lee's office released this statement. she was a valued city employee. this afternoon police stepped up patrol and enforced the pedestrians right of way law. as for the incident itself. police are still working it. >> there have been no arrests or citations issued in this case as of yet. investigators still have to interview witnesses on board a bus. >> reporter: in san francisco,

three people died and two more were injured today in a midair collision involving a small plane and helicopter. it happened in the skies above maryland. the plane was coming from tennessee to the fredrick municipal airport. and the helicopter was involved in a training exercise. the three people who died were on that helicopter. the two unboard the plane were taken to a hospital treated and released. faa investigators are now trying to determine what went wrong. a california highway patrol officer from the bay area is under investigation tonight. he's accused of stealing private cell phone pictures of a woman he booked into jail. ktvu's cristina remember -- rendon has the story and tells us how the woman found out she was involved. >> reporter: a search warrant served at the officers home about two weeks ago shows investigators confiscated an iphone, laptop computer and

tablet containing six risque photos of a woman he arrested in august. the photos show her in various stages of undress. the woman jailed for driving under the influence says harriston confiscated her cell phone and asked for the password. it wasn't until after she was released that she noticed the pictures had been forwarded to an unknown number. and found that that number belonged to the officer. >> when they may or may not appear at any time throughout the rest of her life. the anxiety societied with it is unbearable. >> reporter: the photos were forwarded while the woman was jailed and her cell phone in harrington's possession. they've known about this case for weeks and are investigating similar cases. >> law enforcement officers are human beings just like everybody else. they're sworn to do a job. they're sworn to uphold the law

residents in south western washington are clearing up after an ef1 tornado roared through the area this afternoon. officials say it ripped off roofs. members of the group secretly video taped conditions at a farm but a veterinarian searched the farm with sheriff deputies. and he tells rob roth he didn't see anything wrong. >> reporter: the video shows ducks stumbling and falling as they try to walk on wire mesh.

i think you can say these are fun times. the world series swings into san francisco. after leaving kansas city early this morning the giants arrived in time to get a little practice time at their own home. the giants didn't get to their eighth and 9th inning guys because they were down 7-2 after the giants five run set. the uneffectiveness of strickland would seem to put bochy on the spot on who he can trust. if the players don't go deep in the case of hudson will bochy have confidence in his middlemen. >> our pen i know they've had a couple of hick ups. that's a tough game for them. last night. but you know, these guys are the reason we're here. we think we're going to be fine. it didn't go well last night. but that hasn 't happened very
