halloween evening. trick-or-treaters right now enjoying the night, it is dry from the sky. temperatures in the 50s. and as we move forward in to the next 12 hours or so, most of the activity is going to be to the east in the mountains where we have a winter storm warning, a few light showers for tomorrow morning. i will get to that and johnny faller in morin county where the rain came down hard for a time. umm, john? >> it did. came down hard in several spots. pretty light and for the evening commute. northbound highway 101. a little standing water here and there and slick roads but the rain this halloween made for scary moment on the highways. >> we saw many spinouts and fender-bender accidents and many drivers seem unprepared for rain slickened roads.

and warnings and live radar for your neighborhood. two people were severely burned when an explosion ripped over a house and it happened on the 1500 block of sunnyvale avenue by north main street which runs alongside interstate 680. tom vacar is there with what he has learned about what may have caused the explosion. tom. >> reporter: this is a warning for all of us. it had to be confirmed but the reality was that it was pretty obvious, the lack of a natural gas smell apt presence of numerous butane gas canisters indicates a marijuana grow operation gone bad. >> it began at ten when a neighborhood was rocked by an in steps kaboom. >> i felt initially an earthquake. >> i thought a plane hit my building. >> there was fire and little

explosions going on. >> one unit was destroyed and a large debris field and then the horror. >> i told my neighbor badly burned all over. >> and i ran out. >> i saw two individuals pacing and screaming that they were both on fire and a few more individuals crowded around to help. >> intense feelings. >> his whole face was bleeding. >> one was air lifted to a burn hospital. the other was transported to john mure. both remained in critical condition. >> the source of the explosion is a common product butane and found in these types of containers and the drug being manufactured was butane. >> unconfirmed reports suggest there is a 3rd victim and a cadaver dog was sent into look and found no victims. >> we don't believe there are

street is getting back to normal after a lot of effort. the cheers and confetti rained down. a celebration that left behind goodwill and tons of trash. >> a lot of the trash. 2010 we picked up about 17 tons of garbage and 2012 it went up to almost 22 tons. batting cleanup, a crew of 100 followed the last float raceing to clear and reopen the streets to traffic within a couple of hours. the city encouraged everyone to take public transit and some said problems during the 2012 celebration prompted them to take their cars. >> we took the ferry. >> you learned a lesson from earlier. >> yes. >> lines for training formed the moment the parade ended. bart ridership was up by 60,000. >> there is a lot of people but it shouldn't be too bad.

plaza looked like in 2010 when the giants brought home the world series trophy for the first time in fifty years and for the first time since the team moved from new york to san francisco. then just two years later the giants did it again. black and orange banners once again hung from city hall as hundreds of thousands of people poured in the city and then of course there was today. it looks similar. hundreds of thousands of people showed up and during the parade, they never stopped yelling. there was just a constant roar the entire time. >> for giants fans, today was the storybook ending following a season that had real ups and downs. a little rain came down with all of that confetti but nobody was complaining. i really do believe the big reason we have success is because we play in front of a packed house and they are loud

giants. ceo larry bear jokes he is ready to book civic center for 2016. another even year. you watched it and what was your favorite moment. there was so many great moments. it was seeing the crowd. they were just so fired up and during the parade, that roar never stopped and the other thing i liked was seeing the players come down off of the double-decker buses and mingle with the fans. the players came down to say hi to the folks and i can't remember who it was. pablo sandoval held someone baby while the dad took a picture. >> it was so cool them to walk out and hunter pence rallying around and to get the cheers and just so many great moments and the older players, willie mays and willie mccovingy to

and morgan. there are some showers. gil roy, and morganhill and up to ever green and most of the bay area proper looks like you are in the dry, great news and the mountains winter storm warning and snow and not bad and maybe a foot of snow and maybe more. snow levels now, they will get down to 5000 feet and probably at 5800 feet but they will drop down overnight. on that winter storm warning stays in effect until 2:00 and if you have travel plans in the mountains, keep the travel accordingly and be prepared. this is what is happening tomorrow. as the front moves off, the low tracks in behind it. the front is associated with the low and that is the main parent storm. it is unstable air. as it translates through tomorrow morning it will trigger the chance of a few showers. it looks like mount diablo

area. most likely area to get a thundershower or a shower and mount tam initiating something out towards mount diablo and up in the coastal hills there some activity. all morning stuff and livermore maybe after lunch and that's it. i think it will be less than that. but that chance of a shower or thundershower exists tomorrow morning. by lunchtime it is gone and by sunday it is a distant memory. the system now, this low pressure system is settling in and that's where the showers come from for saturday afternoon the high starts to reestablish itself and we end up with a warming trend. maybe 70s and monday and tuesday in the low 70s. tomorrow low 60s and mid 60s and the five-day forecast with bay area weekend. big day, could you plan more stuff on a friday? it's amazing. i suspect a lot of people if you don't go to the parade you
