like green whether it comes to traffic. get out there. eight to ten minutes to get you across the span of the bay bridge there morning. also this morning, we are talking to the manager of a store in oakland that was vandalized during a christmas night antipolice demonstration. ktuv -- ktvu live where a christmas tree was the target for vandals. >> bryan, good morning to. you it was anything but a silent night here in oakland last flight as protesters moved through there area. a small group vandalized several businesses in this area, and they also, you can see, trashed this christmas tree that sits here on the plaza in jack london square. and the fence that sits around the tree was also bloken. in is video that was posted to facebook last flight. it shows people hurling object rats the christmas tree and ripping down the lights. this all followed a mostly peaceful demonstration that wound through the streets of oakland and

began in the downtown area. at least # hundred people took part. this was the latest local demonstration over police violence targeting minorities. organizers dubbed last night's demonstration no time off. the aim is to keep police officers busy. and after the jack london square christmas tree was vandalized last night, firefighters and police officers moved in to help with the clean up. they swept up the broken ornaments and also helped to repair that fence. and nearby, there was more damage as well. workers swept hundred shattered glass from the sidewalk after vandals used chunks of concrete to
