for the most part it was full adrenaline. >> what did you have in your backpack? >> we were filming a travel period. i had the camera and things like in broad daylight during a bike tour somebody would try to get you. >> when did you notice that something was up with your friend? because you seemed to be ahead of him. >> i saw a little bit of the complication between alex and this guy on the bike. alex got off his bike and the guy was chasing after him. i thought it was just going to be a fight or something so i went to go help alex. as i'm running toward somebody said he's got a gun. i looked down and i see a pistol. by that point i was already kind of in the heat of things. >> he wished that you had sort of just handed the bag over straightaway? that was a really dangerous situation. he had a pistol. you guys are so lucky. >> i would have never recognized somebody resist a robbery. i think that's something you would never want to do. your life's not worth a backpack. it was just me trying to remove alex from the situati and at the time he backpack on. it doesn't really matter at that
