san francisco police and firefighters are called to the bodine bakery after diners get sick in the restaurant. it happened after 10:00 a.m. when 911 saying people inside the bakery were getting ill. we are live outside the bakery. you got there before the police even arrived, correct? >> we did. you can see people are now outside enjoying themselves and

eating. the call initially came in at 10:21. people inside the restaurant were coughing and reporting eye irritation. let's take a look. it prompted the evacuation of customers and staffers from the building. firefighters thought there was a problem with a refrigerator under repair. the hazmat team took samples and learned it was pepper spray that was making people sick. it was intentionally discharged. 11 people had to be treated including tourists visiting from outside the bay area. >> i started could having and it seemed like everybody in the restaurant started coughing. we didn't know what it was. >> we didn't have witnesses that a homeless person came into the building and maliciously discharged pepper spray. that's the source of the irritant. >> reporter: firefighters say there were no injuries.

several people were treated here on the scene. they declined comment to me but police did arrive on the scene shortly after. as far as we know there has not been arrest in this story. >> all right. we'll continue to follow that. thank you. police say a man was struck and killed by a train. it happened about 9:40 a.m.. sky fox was other the scene less than 45 minutes ago. you can see people were just getting off the train and onto a bus. the stopped train is still at the crossing there. police and witnesses say it appeared to be a suicide. we are waiting for word from amtrak through that area. the saga over whether the raiders will be move out of town continues a day after the announcement of the team coming together with a rival on the stadium proposal. the city of carson held a rally

meant to entice both teams to move there. brian flores is in our news room to explain why they not packing their bag any time soon. >> yes. some see it as a ploy and others see it as a real possibility. >> i'm for team carson. >> cheers and applause ] >> that was carson city councilman wearing a chargers raiders jersey during a press conference that ended about an hour ago. we were hoping to hear from a representative from the chargers, raiders or nfl. it was mostly a carson city rally. businesses and labor leaders talking about the advantages of moving both teams to the city south of downtown l.a . both issued a joint statement saying they are working together saying if they can't find a solution in their respective

cities they will have to reserve other options. >> who would have thought that not one but two teams will be interested in coming to carson? it's the best kept secret in the south bay. yes, we can. >> obvious excitement from down there. if you speak from city officials from san diego and oakland this is far from over. many say they were caught off guard but members of the oakland authority met up not only to discuss the latest developments but to also appoint a new director to get the ball rolling on a new stadium. >> i think that without question, without question mark davis would prefer to stay in oak and as would his senior management team. we'll do everything we can. >> you have a committed fan base and committed city and county. we need to reach out to the other folks that can make it happen. >> scott says he already has an

appointment with the raiders for next tuesday morning to see how they can keep the team here. the councilman says he would like to see a more regional approach. it is important to note that a move would need approval of three-fourths of nfl owners. >> thank you. >> sure. we are hearing from san francisco giants about the condition of their manager. he is expected to be released from the hospital today. he experienced some pain after undergoing his annual physical. when he experienced further team yesterday team doctors recommended he go to the hospital. his son who is a nonroster pitcher for the giants visited his father at the hospital and tells us their family has a history of heart disease. >> he has been healthy.

things. you go in cautiously. >> they say it kept the fire from spreading. it took into account about an hour to get out. a s.w.a.t. team raided a home after detectiveslinged it to an alleged kidnapping. a 22-year-old woman seases he was held against her will for three weeks in a barn on stoney point road. it shows state parole agents swarming the 2-acre property yesterday afternoon. several people were detained. neighbors say there's a lot of foot traffic in and out of that compound. >> that's lot of people that come in and come out. yesterday like s.w.a.t. team and a bunch of like the border patrol. they came in and they swooped on in. like everybody. >> the victim told deputies the kidnappers held her at gunpoint

in the roseland area. they took her to the compound where they beat her and sexually assaulted her. she had injuries consistent with her allegations. she was only able to escape after her captors kept a door open at the house. officials say the teenager was yelling and threatening people yesterday. a security guard tried to calm him down. when it didn't work the guard used a stun gun on the boy. the student was treated at the hospital and then arrested. he has been booked on resisting arrest. the county district attorney's office has filed criminal charges against a landscape contractor accused of scamming about a dozen homeowners. you authorities say there may be more victims. a warrant has been issues.

prosecutors have filed 34 criminal charges against him. most occurred in san are moan and walnut creek. they say he approached several people and solicited work for landscape and tree removal services. he took excessive down payments and abandoned the jobs and failed to return the money. thousands of hockey fans will see the san jose sharks to play on an outdoor rank. they are bringing in lots of entertainment features to make it a huge and memorable event. we report on what to expect. >> levi stadium is ready. i have been told they are ahead of schedule for northern california's first outdoor nhl game. you can see the ice rink is covered with tarps to protect it from the elements. we have been watching it transform all week for

pentagon is making an unusual move to push isis out of a key iraqi city. it is the second largest in iraq. joe has details of the plan outlined by u.s. officials. >> reporter: in a conference call with reporters the pentagon is tight lipped and provides support for up to

25,000 iraqi troop to try to recapture mosuc. it was overrun last june. >> they lost mosul. there was concern they would lose baghdad and that would be a huge win for isis. maybe this is a move to get ton offensive. >> reporter: the announcement proceedly drew confusion. they say the plan the timing and number of units involved and could give isis fighters a chance to flee. the terror group could strengthen their positions inside mosul. >> they are going to fight. they are willing to die. i don't believe that our flagging and upcoming attack would break their will. >> there's no indication yet that the u.s. could provide fighting forces on the ground. the u.s. relied on air strikes perhaps to sign the obama administration itself believes

that strategy is not working. it also comes at a curious time it's believed there are between one to two thousand inside mosul today. the pentagon says it hopes to begin before june 17th with some reports suggesting as soon as april or may. in washington, fox news. privacy issues being raised as the sheriffs office looked into a system that would allow deputies to track people through their cell phone. it would be helped to find criminals and missing persons based on court orders. it would not guilty be used to monitor or track a person's every day activity. sting ray is already being used. it works like a decoy cell towerment it tells cell phones to connect to it.

bay area. here is a look at the satellite and low clouds beginning to melt away. still a few stubborn patches. still overcast. pushing to the south you'll find more clear skies with the exception towards parts of the shoreline. we had a few patches between san jose and morgan hill. looks like that cloud layer is begins to lift as well. you can see where that cloud deck is. it is still only in the lower 50s in santa rosa. walnut creek reporting 65 degrees. clearing skies for today. it will be a breezy weekend with a slight chance of a sunday shower out there. partly cloudy skies expected for next week. so another forecast for today with clearing skies. here is the eventual temperature range approaching the 70-degree mark. high pressure for today and
