a proposal to move the alcatraz ferry service to fort mason is angering people in the neighborhood. some people say they don't want all the people crowding their neighborhood and other question where people would park and how they would get to the ferry. ktvu's allie rasmus is live at

new developments in a kidnapping attempt. a man tried to shove a student into his car while walking home from school last week but she was able to fight him off. police think the suspect may be connected to arth kidnapping. ktvu's -- with another kidnapping. ktvu's cristina rendon with more. >> reporter: this is a letter that went home with students informing students, be on the look out. >> reporter: take a look at these sketches. police say they are suspects in two attempted kidnappings. the first happened two weeks ago. >> i heard screaming and yelling. i am thinking it is kids playing around or something but it was more serious than that. >> 14-year-old girl was approached by man who tried to pull her into his car. she fought back and got away

and helped police with this sketch. then three days ago a girl was attacked and nearly kidnapped two miles from the high school. she fought back too and ran to a neighbor's house. this is the sketch of that suspect. >> scared because it is in our neighborhood. >> reporter: students say an assembly was called this morning. >> they told us to not walk alone. to be in a group after school. in the morning. not walk alone. be careful for that guy. >> reporter: the school district is advising parents to be mildful of their child's -- mindful of their wild's wear abouts. walk with friends to and from school and immediately alert a teacher or staff with any concerns. police say it is possible the two suspects would be the same person. the suspect was driving a white sedan. investigators are tracking lead but they are welcoming any

tips. >> cristina rendon, just fortunate she was able to get away. thank you. 49ers player arrested. police confirm fullback bruce miller was arrested last week on charges of spousal battery. this afternoon the 49ers general manager released a statement saying we were disappointed to learn of these reports and will collect all relevant information. a toddler spent 14 hours in a upside down car after her mom crashed into the river. she lost control of her car friday night and landed on the roof. the mother died but the 14- month-old remayored strapped in the car -- remained strapped in the car seat. the next day the car was discovered. >> there was a fisherman that came to fish and noticed the
