investigations. a judge still has to rule on the motion. if approved it would help them prove who was responsible for deleting any missing person files. >> eric rasmussen in the news room, thank you. breaking news right now in oakland. there are reports two people have been injured after a shooting on chestnut and 28th streets. ktvu's paul chambers just arrived on the scene. what can you tell us? >> reporter: we have limited information. this is what i know. sky fox right now. before 5:00 p.m. witnesses heard multiple shots. some saying 20. there are several scenes out here. a woman was shot and killed. witnesses say she was defending her son who was also shot. we are told he has life

threatening injuries. there is an issue with the bus. police tell me there were several witnesses on the bus, that is why they stopped the bus to talk to the people on the bus. people are being allowed to be taken back into the area after they show their idea to police. we are just seeing -- live. it is a serious situation. the man found out his wife is killed. i think we need go back to you right now. i will come back and give you more information when we get it. >> very, very devastating situation in oakland. thank you. >> boy. okay. we have breaking news from san francisco right now. we learned b.a.r.t. service has been stopped between 24 and daly city on the

daly city line due to police activity. there is someone running loose in one of the tunnels there. there are major delays as a result of this. b.a.r.t. service stopped in san francisco right now between daly city and millbrae stations as a result of some type of police activity. working to get more information. as soon as we do we will bring it to you. san francisco police are investigating a deadly shooting that claimed the lives of two men. it happened after 9:30 a.m. this morning. police say the men were shot while sitting in a parked car near a playground. the identities have not been released and the suspects are men in their 20s. right now a search is underway for an inmate on the loose. johnell carter over powered a sheriff's deputy during a medical appointment on friday and he escaped. ktvu's azenith smith joins us now, live with the latest on

the search. >> reporter: the sheriff's office believes johnell carter is still in the san jose area. and they formed a task force in hopes to find him. >> this is our top priority. we have several detectives, the task force, the sheriff's office wants to capture him as soon as possible. >> reporter: capturing johnell carter is difficult. three days later and no sign of the 43-year-old who took down a deputy during a appointment at the medical center. the sheriff's office says they put his picture on fugitive watch and hurted authorities. >> -- alerted authorities. >> surveillance, following up on tips. communication within other agencies. >> reporter: documents obtained by ktvu reveal johnell carter was arrested in march of last year. accused of sexual encounter with a 9-year-old relative over

the course of a year. he denied the allegations. >> just, you know, shock to me. >> nervous for my friends. you know, her daughter. >> reporter: she lives next door to the victim's family and hopes the authority catch him soon. while ktvu was in the neighborhood members of bikers against child abuse were at the home. they tell ktvu they are keepers of children, watching out for victims of child abuse. >> i think it is awesome they are protecting somebody like that. awesome to me. >> reporter: the sheriff's office told us johnell carter has a tattoo on his neck that reads amy, not alison. that was originally reported on friday. also he has a tattoo on his

arm. >> all right. thank you. students and teachers are mourning the death of a 15-year- old who was killed by a cal train this morning. it happened about 6:30 a.m. investigators say it appears the death was a suicide. last year 10 people were killed on the tracks. 8 were determined to be suicide. that is compared to 8 so far this year. >> reporter: lawmakers in sacramento are considering a new bill aimed at preventing sexual violence in california schools. it would require high schools to add curriculum about sexual assault and violence. lawmakers want students educated about the importance of consent in response to the growing number of sexual assaults on california college campuses. >> when to the high school level because the attitudes of a culture of sexual assaults of

sexual sexual assaults does -- goes deeper than that. >> supporters say more than 20% of women will become victims of sexual assault on a california college campus. a warning issued to parents after a student tested positive for tuberculous. officials sent home a letter saying the student was not on campus when diagnosed. the district was notified friday. officials are working with the health department. the student will not return till they deem it is safe. it has been a tumultuous day for 49ers fans. more players leaving the team. the list includes mike signing with arizona. justin smith and patrick smith and frank gore signing with the philadelphia eagles and also word that colin kaepernick may
