sal, normal slow traffic? >> good traffic is out there on 80. we'll look at interstate 80 from the bridge to the macarthur maze. when you get to the bay bridge toll plaza it's a 25 to 30 minute delay unless there is no problems on the upper deck of the bay bridge in san francisco. we have stop-and-go traffic near the construction zone in antioch. this looks good in the bridge to walnut creek. 580 has filled in getting to livermore. it's remained steady and slow going into double lynn inter-- dublin interchange. northbound 101 is the only freeway that's slow. we've had a crash near 88, and it's up to a good start on 280

and 285. let's look at the marin county, this has closed. at 10:00, a car ran into this power pole, a man was arrested under suspicion of drunk driving and is in the marin county jail. they're holding this up. they have to put a new pole in. it's going it take all day until 6:00 and the 2100 block of san francisco boulevard will be closed for repairs. we continue to follow the breaking news out of france this morning. the french prosecutor investigating the crash says it appears that the copilot intentionally brought that plane down. fox 2 reporter brought us us down the last minutes of that flight. >> after going cockpit and voice recordings, they came to the conclusion that be the

others joined police officers as they lined up in front of the medical coroner's office yesterday day. they followed the hearse that carried the body to the fisher home in los gatos. people watched as the flagged draped casket was brought inside. >> i told michael's mother she did an extraordinary job raising a courageous valiant public servant and we owe her an extraordinary debt of gratitude. that doesn't take any of the pain away for someone who has lost their child. >> we're learning more about johnson. he was a native of san jose. he was well liked and respected in the department. he was described as a nickeled guy and a black belt in

welcome back to mornings on 2, time 6:13, one person was killed by a tornado, it ripped through the tulsa, oklahoma area. several homes in this mobile home park were destroyed. they responded to several crashes, buildings collapsing and house fires. a tornado reported in more oklahoma, the city where 23 people were killed by a tornado in 2013. firefighters in one oklahoma city rescued dozens of children, their gymnastic studio had 60 people inside when the building collapsed, tornado sirens were going off. as they took cover in the basement, the storm took the roof off part of the building.

the outpouring of support continues to grow for the san jose police department and the family of the officer who was killed in action. >> reporter: pam, the staff are slowly coming into work today, they have to pass by this memorial where people have left flowers and candles and cars, there's a feeling of sadness and officers have a job to do and are staying strong. they appreciate the outpouring of support for their brother. he was 38 years old and was married. he was a 14-year-old veteran and was a field training officer. they describe him as a nickeled guy who had your back and he was well liked. he had a black belt in jujitsu and he taught at a studio without pay. it's one of the ways he gave back to the community. >> i'm sure we'll have a

what's the latest tara. >> reporter: you know from the beginning, this kidnapped story was definitely strange, like why did the boyfriend wait so many hours to report that his girlfriend was missing. that was the clue that tipped police off that indeed this was a hoax. 29-year-old denise huskins, a physical therapist turned up in huntington beach safe at her fatherrest's home yesterday morning. she agreed to meet with the f.b.i. and miss regarding her case, but authorities have not been able to make contact with her or her family. in fact, she has a lawyer and they're blaming her and her boyfriend for concocting a kidnapping plot. if you can imagine devoting our resources, 24 hours a day, well, i will classify it as a wild goose chase, it's a

on washington street. he acted as if he had a gun and he escaped with an undisclosed amount of money. 15 minutes later the same man held up a gas station a couple of blocks away. a third robbery happened at 1:45 yesterday afternoon. a man demanded medication from a pharmacy on lakeville street after telling a pharmacist he had a gun. they're looking into whether the same suspect is connected in all three robberies. also this morning, workers who had been on strike at the tesoro refinery for two months are scheduled to return to their jobs. a united workers union went on strike on february 1st. the workers ratified a new contract earlier this week. but, the union won't comment on the details. the refinery says it will resume normal operations today that should make more gas available in the coming days. our time is 6:40, we're getting a look at system of the

. welcome back to mornings on 2, the time is 6:55, a sheriff's deputy shot and wounded a man. they responded to a call for a possible drug deal in the foothills east of san jose. authorities say deputies detained two women who were in one car when a man in another car rammed the sheriff's patrol car and aimed the car at the deputies. one of the deputies opened fire with, but the man kept driving. the deputy was not hurt. the suspect later showed up at
