.50 to 1.50 should be about right for most of us here. there will be heavier amounts isolated areas and to the north. winter storm warning starts tonight in the sierra, 1:00 a.m. tuesday and goes through midnight. everything is after late tonight into early tomorrow. there will be a couple of feet. we might get snow in the hills around 3500 feet. it wouldn't be until tuesday probably late morning, early afternoon, st. helena, diablo, hamilton. if the system can get the moisture source, and i think it will be, then it will arrive for tonight. you can see by 10:00 p.m., it's just moving into the north. finally by midnight and 2:00 a.m., it sweeps through. by 4:00 to 6:00 a.m.. system goes through but then comes the cold, unstable air. that will give us showers, possible thundershowers, hale. there could be good cells here. maybe funnel clouds out to the valley. this is the time of year where you get this kind of cold air. the days are longer. it could be very interesting
