a chase on the bay bridge ends with an arrest and charges. about 30 minutes ago, a high- speed chase on the bay bridge ended with the arrest of a carjacking suspect. we caught the chase on one of our traffic cameras. the chase started around 10:40 this morning on 580 near lakeshore avenue. it continued onto interstate 880 onto -- onto interstate 80,

tara moriarty he got upset because he wanted to talk to police and nobody came out. police say the van left a trail of destruction before ending up in front of a home on broadway in the rockridge neighborhood. >> we had witnesses that said they saw him doing doughnuts at task and broadway north of us right now. then the car proceeded to drive spwond broadway where it crashed into -- southbound broadway where it crashed into a car on the 5500 block of broadway, drove drown broadway, make a u-turn and come to rest. >> the driver was cited for reckless driving and driving with a suspended license. according to the san francisco chronicle, a location in concord that's been the cite of two derailments in the past five years, and yesterday track problems prompted a shut down of the elevated stretch between

.50 to 1.50 should be about right for most of us here. there will be heavier amounts isolated areas and to the north. winter storm warning starts tonight in the sierra, 1:00 a.m. tuesday and goes through midnight. everything is after late tonight into early tomorrow. there will be a couple of feet. we might get snow in the hills around 3500 feet. it wouldn't be until tuesday probably late morning, early afternoon, st. helena, diablo, hamilton. if the system can get the moisture source, and i think it will be, then it will arrive for tonight. you can see by 10:00 p.m., it's just moving into the north. finally by midnight and 2:00 a.m., it sweeps through. by 4:00 to 6:00 a.m.. system goes through but then comes the cold, unstable air. that will give us showers, possible thundershowers, hale. there could be good cells here. maybe funnel clouds out to the valley. this is the time of year where you get this kind of cold air. the days are longer. it could be very interesting
