8:44 am
>> reporter: it's nice there's now a separate dedicated ramp to go from northbound 280 to northbound 880. it's a little bit jarring. it can be ta little bit disorienting -- it will be a little bit disor -- disorienting at first. there's no backup. it appears to be smooth sailing. here's what the flyover looks like approaching from northbound 280. drivers will notice an immediate change. the exit to highway 17 is on the left. the exit to 880 is on the ride. before, it was reversed. once you get on the new flyover to 880, you don't have to intermix with local traffic. before drivers had to mix with drivers who wanted to exit stevens creek where the valley fair mall is located. it was an area that would bottleneck. those living nearby are glad the construction is over and hope the work paid off.
