i'm telling you the openly reason you would be inside my house is if i were the suspect of something. no, i will not let you inside my house. >> an angry confrontation recorded by a police officer's body camera. i'm brian flores. the fairfield police department is defending itself against accusations of excessive force. you will recall an 8-year-old boy disappeared when the car he was in was stolen. he was found safe.

but as alex savidge explains, his family is upset why how they were treated during the search. >> my son is not here. >> reporter: newly-released police body camera video shows the mother of a missing fairfield boy growing more and more agitated as officers ask permission to search her home to make sure the child isn't inside. >> is there a reason why up don't want to us go in there? >> i don't want you in may house. >> okay. >> it's my house. my personal place. i don't want you invading my personal space. >> reporter: this heated exchange played out during the search for brock guzman. he was inside the family car in the driveway when it was stolen. >> i'm not the suspect of any crime. there's no reason for you to be in my house. >> reporter: but when she tried to block officers from entering her front door, she was taken to the ground and hand of you

can-- handcuffed. >> what am i doing! what am i doing! >> there is an amber alert out there. all of the news people are en route right here. >> reporter: guzman 'husband was detained after police say he interfered with the investigation. but the guzman family claims police officers used excessive force and they are planning to file a formal complaint against the department. >> obviously, these officers need better training on how to deal with a mother that is hysterical about losing her kids. you heard the 911 call. she is hysterical but answered every question. that's what any were do -- what they were doing. she was answering. she was upset. >> reporter: fairfield police say their primary concern all along was bringing brock home. a few hours into the search, he was found unharmed. initially officers at the scene grew suspicious when they looked into the home and saw what they thought was blood on the carpet.

it turned out to be nal polish. >> my [bleep] is gone. these guys [bleep] >> the boy's mother and father were eventually released from custody and were not charged. but now they are accusing fairfield police of crossing the line adding insult to injury during this traumatic situation. in the newsroom, alex savidge, ktvu channel 2 news. four people were killed in a wrong way crash on highway 50 in sacramento this morning. the accident involving three cars happened just before 2:30 this morning in the westbound lanes of highway 50 near the stockton boulevard exit. the california highway patrol says a toyota prius had driven east in the westbound lanes for about fine miles -- five miles when it collided head on with a pickup truck. a third car got tangled in the wreck. a female driver and all three men in the tluk were kill -- truck were killed.

and then there was a fireball. >> i could see a fireball and then i move to the shoulder and then 911. >> the person in the third car had only minor injuries. it's not yet clear if drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash. but lanes of the highway were closed for five hours during the investigation and cleanup. a martinez police officer was injured trying to rescue people from an apartment fire. it started around 5:45 this morning. in a ground floor unit at a complex on pine street near highway 4. the fire quickly spread upstairs. we have cell phone video. fire officials say one woman who lives in the apartment building was treated for smoke inhalation. a police officer who was trying to evacuate someone in the lower unit also breathed in the heavy smoke. >> the officer who was injured was on duty all night. he was actually coming back to the station to go home when the fire came in and so he came over here and lent his assistance to the effort to try

to make sure folks are safe and getting people out. >> the injured woman was taken to the hospital. the police officer was examined at the scene. crews got the fire under control at about 6:30. overall, six units in all were damaged. the cause is still under investigation. firefighters are also watching another early-morning fire in contra costa county. a ranch style home on la casa was engulfed in flames when crews first arrived on scene. the two-alarm fire started around 4:00. it took firefighters about an hour to bring it under control. firefighters don't believe there was anyone inside the home at the time of the fire. the home was located near john muir medical center. a fire marshal said there's no indication at this point that the fire was deliberately set. well, tensions with iran are increasing as u.s. warships head off the coast of yemen. the u.s. says there's evidence

suggesting ships. here's more. >> reporter: sources tell fox news, the u.s.s. cheat door roosevelt is shadowing an iranian convoy suspected of carrying rebels. president obama says his administration has made a stance on assisting them very clear to iran. >> there is a reason why we keep some of our ships in the persian gulf reason. that's to make sure we maintain freedom of navigation. what we've said to them is that if there are weapons delivered to factions within yemen that could threaten navigation, that's a problem. >> reporter: a saudi-led coalition has been conducting strikes for a month. that mission now over. coalition forces now launching a new campaign to keep the rebels from operating. >> the coalition will continue

to perform their operation in hope for yemen, wishing that yemen will become again stage and secure. >> reporter: iran has been a vocal critic of the u.s.-backed airstrikes. tehran welcoming the end of the campaign but says it's hurt saab's stand -- saudi arabia's standing in the region. the u.s. and iran are trying to hammer out a nuclear deal. both countries have until the end ofian to reach an an april -- ofian to reach -- of june to reach an agreement. the house foreign affairs committee asked foreign withins inspectors how -- weapons inspectors how this would work. they said they would not be granted access under the

framework nuclear agreement announced several weeks ago. >> you have to have prompt access. the administration has proposals. iran has not accepted those. >> if iran is caught cheating will this or the next administration be prepared to call them out? i'm not confident. >> some senators are also calling on president obama to tie any final nuclear deal with the release of americans held prisoner in iran including bay area journalist jason risayan. police in paris say they foiled an immigrant terrorist church attack. they arrested a 24-year-old algerian man sunday accused of planning to attack as many as two churches. police found heavy weapons, handguns in his home and car. there were also notes about potential targets. . he was shot because he accidentally shot himself in the leg and called an ambulance. he's also accused of killing a

woman before he was arrested. and in the trial of dzhokhar tsarnaev, this morning, the trial focused on the m.i.t. police officer killed during that manhunt. his boss testified calling officer shawn collier one of the best he's ever had. yesterday, prosecutors who say dzhokhar tsarnaev should be executed said he was determined to be america's worst nightmare and was unrepentant followth attack that killed three and injured 260 others. the defense arguing for life in prison is expected to begin presenting its case next week. well, a string of attacks against women in the north bay. now police are trying to determine if they are connected. the clues they have in their investigation. a proposal to end california tea vaccine exemption takes a step forward in the state capitol. as we take a look outside overcast skies for most of us. mark tamayo is up next with what you can expect for the next few days. stay tuned.

welcome back, everybody. we are learning that a missing daly city teen has been found safe and sound. we first told you last night about 16-year-old destiny peoples who been missing since sunday. she needed her medication and has the mental capacity of a child. she was found in the parking lot of a boston market near the mall on sunday.

police took her home but she left again. she's been seeking a relationship with her biological mother. the family let us know she's turned up safe. authorities in the south bay are searching for a missing 17-year-old boy at this hour. deputies say connor sullivan was last seen at 10:00 a.m. monday morning. this is new video into the newsroom of the search command post that's been set up in cupertino at stevens creek boulevard and pasadena avenue. the family says connor attended his first period class at monta vista high school in cupertino but missed the rest of his classes and has not been seen since. he's 5'5", weighs about 150 pound. anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff's department. >> police in santa rosa are trying to figure out if three attacks on women in the past nine months are connected. the most recent happened monday afternoon when a woman was assaulted on a walking trail along round barn boulevard and fountain grove. last july, another woman was

sexually assaulted on a creek path near railroad square. and then in february, a woman had just started her job at spring lake when a man grabbed her. police have released a sketch of the man who the victims describe white in his 30s. they say he appeared stunned when they tried to febd him him -- fend him off. >> i work in the nonprofit field and i know we have a pervasive issue in sonoma county. it makes me sad to know he's without resources but i also feel horrible for the victims. >> the detectives say there was substantial physical contact in each case, enough to qualify it as an a. teed rape. a mystery note left on a police car in denver has officers reaching out to people in san jose. janine de la vega tells us how law enforcement is using social

media to offering their own thank you to a woman from san jose. >> reporter: i spoke with a loit from the denver -- lieutenant from the denver police who received the note. he found it wedged in the patrol of his car. he thought what did i do wrong? did i cut somebody off while i was driving? but when he actually opened it and read it, he was completely touched. here is a picture of that note that was written on a ripped piece of paper. denver police posted it on their facebook page. it says dear officer, i'm from san jose, california and we recently lost an asset to an amazing team last week. thank you for risking your life every day for my safety. you are important and i am super thankful for you. i hope you have a wonderful weekend and god bless. signed, lauren. the woman left the note the week after san jose police officer michael johnson was killed by an armed man which obviously moved her. denver police want to find lauren so they can personally thank her. >> i asked my department to post it on our facebook page to

-- the only means i had to reach out and thank her back. the way she said thanks to all of us, we all wanted to return it and say thanks back to her for thinking of us that way. >> reporter: san jose police also wanted to track down lauren to let her now how grateful they were for her words of kindness. we were able to be connected to lauren by phone who is living in denver but is returning to san jose this summer. >> this officer doesn't know who i am. he won't know i'm here. he can go the rest of his life without knowing me. it was more of like a -- i had a lot of gratitude towards him. i just wanted to tell him. >> reporter: lauren says she had just left a church office and got inspired when she pulled into a store parking lot and parked next to a patrol vehicle. reporting from san jose, janine

for that. >> thank you. we have new video of a biologist from u.s. santa cruz banning three falcon chicks nesting on top of city hall. you can see the man in the video taking one of the chicks. as the city does every year, san jose is holding an online contest to name the three chicks. the deadline for entries is this friday. "people" magazine has named sandra bullock as the world's most beautiful woman. 50-year-old bullock said she laughed and thought it was ridiculous when she heard she was collected for this year's cover -- selected for this year's cover. she won the oscar for best actress in the blind side in 2009. she's found beauty in her role as mother to her 5-year-old son, louie. coming up, yahoo! disappoints. we'll tell you why.

welcome back. well, stocks are higher after afternoon trading. chipotle's stock sank after the company said a shortage of pork is hurting results. taking a look, the nasdaq is up 24. s&p up 11.

meantime, yahoo! shares are down 50 cents after a reported disappointing first quarter results. the sunnyvale-based company posted an adjusted profit of 15 cents a share. that missed the forecast by 3 cents. revenue missed expectations. it came in at over $1 billion for the web portal and e-mail service. well, speaking of money, b.a.r.t. will spend $12 million to make badly needed improvements at stations along market street in san francisco. escalators will be replaced at two of the powell street entrances and one at civic center. canopy will be installed over the new escalators like the one at the 19th street station in oakland. b.a.r.t. will brighten up the civic center with new lighting. it will work to enforce city codes that forbid lying downg in the -- lying down in the station. something passengers are happy to hear. >> it's nasty, it's disgusting. they let the homeless people lay on the ground. >> i think it could use freshening up. >> b.a.r.t. officials will be at the powell
