night. but they did not go into any further details about what happened. sullivan was last seen at his first period class at monta vista high school, but missed his remaining classes and did not show up for track practice. practice. hundreds of volunteers searched for him near the school and that nearby malls and hospitals. antioch students and parents are being urged to be on the lookout this morning. after an elementary school student said a stranger tried to lure him into a trot. the fifth-grader says that happened yesterday morning. as he was walking to bell shot elementary school. shortly after 8:30 a.m. the school principal sent a letter to parents letting them know about the incident. the principal says the man tried to lure the boy into his truck repeatedly until the boy ran to the school's front gate. the boy describes the stranger as a clean shaven asian man in his 30s, driving a red two-door toyota truck. this is the second incident in the area this week. on monday, a student in brentwood says she was approached by a stranger when she was walking home from school. did you see the game yesterday? we didn't because they were sleeping. we heard about it. the worst -- warriors can sweep

the pelicans out of the playoffs tomorrow night after an incredible comeback win in game three that's unbelievable. super excited. three-pointer sent last night game into overtime. that was after the warriors mounted a 20-point comeback to start the fourth. it ended with a 123 -- 119 victory for our ducks. back here at home, warriors pack grand avenue lounge to watch game three, the warriors dance team even showed up to bring some extra excitement to the party. >> this is the place to watch it with a local crowd. the people of oakland, the people that really supports the warriors. >> i love the warriors. but you have to support local members too. i wouldn't watch it anywhere else but oakland. especially for an away game. >> the lounge or even pay 25%

hour. they say that she exited the freeway, and headed toward sevastopol. at one point she turned into a parking lot and deputies began closing in police say that's when she backed her car into three deputies, knocking him to the ground they opened fire. hitting her multiple time she was taken to the hospital. her condition is not known at this time erie it the three deputies were treated for minor injuries. the time is 406 and we are 406 and we are now learning that a napa man is in a coma after he was beaten during a jewelry store robbery earlier this week. so that is how the community is rallying to help him. >>reporter: a steady stream of customers coming by with concerns. especially for 55-year-old bob porter. he suffered a heart attack while he was being assaulted. >> i started hitting him here. >>reporter: is still vivid for the jewelry store owner. who rescued his clerk on the floor being beaten with pliers.

welcome back, good mornings on two. a bill to protect people who let their lawns turn brown is on their way to the state senate. i know there are homeowners associations in some cities that say people can be fined if they don't water their lawns or keep the grass green. the new graph screen. the new legislation would prohibit those fines. if the bill is passed by the state of semi- yesterday. new construction in palo alto has people concerned about wasting water. >> people that live in the intersection of parker avenue and dual road they have seen watching thousands of gallons of water being flushed down the drain. the spokesman for palo alto public works is peppered -- property owner propping -- pumping water in either land so they can build basements for their future homes. that water is being pumped into drains and eventually ends up in the san francisco bay. the people who live in the area say this is unacceptable especially during a drought. >> every time i turn on the news, every time i open facebook every time i look at twitter, save water, save water.

theythey can pump gallons and gallons in one minute, they don't get a fine for that. >> palo alto public works says about 50 gallons of water a minute is being flushed down the drain. that works out to 72,000 gallons a day. contractors have now placed a vow that each site will have water trucks and sweet street sleepers can be filled with water. the city says that water can only be used for irrigation and not for drinking. in today's made in the bay we are learning about a a local company that found a way to take humidity out of the air. and converted into water. ktvu rob tells us about this company believes this technology could help california during the drought. >> it's a simple concept that sucks the air in. >>reporter: it may look like an ordinary water cooler, but this device can make water out of air. when ferrera is a former professional tennis player and cofounder of eco- blue which makes awt's, or automatic water

time now is 4:23 a.m., and a huge crowd watched in horror as a stage collapsed in indiana high school just north of indianapolis. injuring more than a dozen students. authorities say that stage gave way last night during the final number of the musical. at least 12 students were injured, one critically. parents could be heard screaming for their kids, as they rushed to the stage. it's not clear what caused the stage to collapse. we have some new information now about a fire a fire in fresno that critically injured a firefighter. a fresno woman has now been interested after she --

arrested after she admitted to starting a fire. look at the dramatic video that shows him falling through the roof of a burning building, that went viral. he'd suffered second and third degree burns about 65% of his body. officials say the suspect would face six -- seven years in prison. if found guilty. doctor oz is responding to critics who say he lacks credibility as a physician for promoting quack treatments for financial gain. >> i know i've irritated some potential allies in our quest to make america healthy. to matter our disagreements freedom of speech, is the most fundamental right we have as americans. and these ten doctors, are trying to silence that right. >> this was an excerpt from yesterday show, taped show, taped in response to a letter sent last week by a group of doctors to columbia university. they are asking the school to remove the tv dr. from the school's faculty. dr. oz also said during the show, that he never promotes treatments for his own financial gain.
