the suspect is jailed on suspicion of felony dui, and vehicular manslaughter as investigators try to figure out what was his frame of mind when he backed into all those people. pittsburgh police say a man shot and killed two people during an alleged home invasion. it happened just after 9:00 o'clock last night onto which avenue. authorities say this is the second time someone has tried to burglarize the man's home, four people were arrested during the first attempt. investigators haven't said if the two incidents are connected in any way. the names of the two people killed have not yet been released. police have arrested two people from east bay after a high-speed chase that involved a young child. twenty-six her old brown, 26 her old brown of oakland, face child endangerment charges. and burglary. police say after blocker broke into a heart -- car this afternoon he led officers on a

chase sometimes driving against the flow of traffic on interstate 80. the chase ended when blocker allegedly had other vehicles at the intersection of marshall road and alamo drive in vacaville, to people in those cars were injured. walker and brown tried to get away with a child when they were arrested, the child is now in protective custody. cleanup efforts got underway in downtown oakland after a violent night of protest. christian catherine tells us the vandalism cast a shadow on a peaceful demonstration today. >>reporter: about 100 people or so showed up in front of city hall using art in their opposition to police violent. >> we are making flowers, and names of individuals who have been killed by police. >>reporter: surrounding the plaza, dozens of police officers watching the demonstration. >> we are here to facilitate that make sure no outsiders come in and disrupt their message, freedom of each day when organizers here say

today in baltimore the first large-scale rally since felony charges were announced in the freddy gray case. mike tobin reports the a demonstration earlier today was peaceful, but law enforcement said the 10:00 p.m. curfew would remain in place. >>reporter: the street streets around baltimore city hall filled with protesters calling for justice after the death of freddy gray. prosecutors say gray suffered a severe neck injury while in police custody and was not given medical treatment when he asked for it. >> freddy gray become symbolic of all of the black men in this country. who have been treated unfairly by our police. >>reporter: baltimore state's attorney marilyn mosby announced six officers will

families that survive on the tips they make from restaurants. from bars. >>reporter: a six officers arrested are now out on bail and demonstrators who come here night after night say they want to keep on protesting until all of those officers are convicted. in baltimore, mike fox2 news. >> a police officer is hospitalized tonight after he was shot in the face. it happened in queens around 630 tonight. two plainclothes officers approached the man on a man on the street almost immediately he opened fire on the officer and a bullet hit one officer in the face. the man took off, and a massive manhunt was launched. the suspect was found hiding in a house not far from the shooting scene and was arrested. according to the new york times officer who was shot did not suffer a life-threatening injury the bullet went into his cheek and out the right side of his head and it is thought to have missed his brain. the word of a mass killing in northern iraq islamic state militants killed 300 people held in captivity.

today several people shaved their heads that live on mornings onto, it was to show solidarity with six or old miley who is battling cancer. her dad is in oakland firefighter. several members of the firefighter family not only shaved their head, but are also organizing something else for the little girl they know as smiley miley. the game is all about getting the puck in the net. but these hockey players are more focused on that little girl watching them through the glass. >> i like skating. >>reporter: six euros miley sometimes goes by smiley miley and it takes about a half second to see why. >> my daddy is a little bit
