grieving family members confront a suspected drunk driver that killed a mother and her daughter in livermore over the weekend. 35-year-old brian jones was at the alameda county courthouse where the victim's grieving family and friends were there calling him a murderer. what happened today and why it is taking longer to charge

jones. >> good afternoon. jones posted bail after his arrest. the victim's family told me they were extremely angry and frustrated that he was out walking free while their family is shattered. this case was continued. they directed that anger directly at jones. >> we need just justice. >> every time you breathe and act you are a murderer. >> jones was at court to make his appearance. it is continued to may 28th. this case is complicated and needs more time to review it before filing criminal charges. you can hear the victim's families yelling in the background. >> mr. jones is remorse full.

he has been an emotional wreck every second of the day over what happened. he is extremely sorry for what happened. >> saturday just before 7:00 p.m. jones was speeding in livermore. some estimate he was driving his 2014 corvette between 60 and 80 miles per hour. the car jumped the curb and slipped into an a partment killing the mother and 14 month old. he was arrested for suspected dui and gross vehicular manslaughter. there was a two hour window between last call and when the crash happened. investigators are trying to
