the search. ktvu's debora villalon will s on the scene and -- is on the scene right now. new developments now in an attempted abduction in campbell. police released this video today. the driver of the car tried to grab a young girl who was walking her dog. they say they hope this will lead to an arrest. ktvu's cristina rendon is live with the video and what the girl told police the kidnapper said to her. >> reporter: police are telling us the suspect lingered in the neighborhood for several minutes before he approached her and investigators talked to neighbors. this is one of the videos taken saturday morning. shows the suspect making a u- turn, driving a silver or beige 1998-2002 honda accord.

the suspect went to an intersection and made the u- turn to go to the girl and then the suspect waits for a minute before driving down the street to approach her. the girl told police the suspect claimed he was lost and needed directions. he is accused of trying to force her into his car but she fought back. police are hoping this video will spark leads. >> we are getting tips, people who think they might know what the voke looks like -- vehicle looks like, where it is. and the suspect. >> reporter: police are looking into several locations of possible sightings. the suspect is asian or latino in his mid-30s and 5'7" with a medium build. mese say they haven't had any other reports of a man trying to assault other children. police are asking kids and adults to be aware of their surroundings and if you have information on the case call

police. >> hoping people take a look at the video. thank you. new at 6:00 p.m. the fbi is offering a $10,000 reward for information on an armed bank robber believed to have targeted 7 banks over six weeks. police say the man held up six banks in san francisco since march 30 and they believe he is the same man that robbed a chase bank in antioch. investigators say he showed a knife in two of the robberies. he had a gun in two others. the president announced today police agencies will no longer be able to get certain types of equipment from the military. the list includes grenade launchers, bayonets, tracked armored vehicles, weaponized aircraft and vehicles, firearms and ammunition of .50-caliber or higher. several bay area police departments used the program. ktvu's claudine wong tells us they don't think the changes

armored vehicles. click on a city and a list will come up. the state assembly passed a bill on sexual assaults and college students. it would allow community colleges to expel students for assaulting classmates off campus. it is needed because some colleges don't believe they can penalize students for off campus sexual assaults. the bill moves to the senate. nfl team owners are gathered in san francisco for spring league meetings. one issue, team and stadium moves. ktvu's noelle walker is live outside the hotel where team owners are meeting. there has been speculation about whether raiders owner will move the team. >> reporter: the raiders moved before and some say they could do it again. i asked the owner where he wants the team to play. >> reporter: what will it take to get you to stay here? athletes that died saturday. they jumped off a cliff while in wing suits near the valley floor at yosemite national park at dusk. their bodies were recovered yesterday. he was known for his stunts. the jump that killed them was illegal but many stilt respect their brave -- still respect their bravery. >> be human being about it and express our sympathy and condolences. >> this is earlier video of him jumping with his dog. his dog was not with him on the jump where he died. investigators believed the two jumpers were air born for 15 seconds and they say their parachutes were never deployed. in honor of memorial day next week a pilot was remembering a fallen comrade today in san francisco. that is where he is buried. he says they flew a lot of

missions together during the vietnam war. after he came home he continued and was shot down. his body was found years later in 1990. >> because we see combat and some of us haven't come back memorial day an important day for us -- is an important day for us. he was joined by another vietnam veteran who knew the pilot. new learning center aims to expand opportunities for youngsters in science and technology. students had a chance to explore. officials say it would prepare students to participate in the economy of the future by exposing them to computer programming, robotics and design. it is a partnership involving facebook, stanford university and the education foundation. mark is here now with more

on the 49er who is retiring. >> seems like the off season has been about take aways for the 49ers. not a lot of pluses. today it was talked about there they are losing one of the best defensive lineman. justin smith announced he will retire. 35 years old. which is ancient for a nfl player. played 14 years of good football in the nfl. a 5 time probowler. and great work ethic and great teacher. will be missed for a lot of different reason. the big story, of course, the golden state warriors. they will be taking on houston. they found that out yesterday afternoon. rockets beat the clippers and i am sure the warriors haven't forgotten words by the star of the rockets james harden. have a look.
