fairfield. that's a gust of 30. then you take a look down here. blowing up on the delta. what will happen? temperatures will warm from the 50s and get right back up into the temperatures that you want to see. upper 70s and some low 80s. mostly cloudy. little bit of drizzle. then patchy, what are you looking at? i have like four hours of sleep. then okay saturday is the warmest day. sunday will cool. when i get back i will be more specific with all that. we start with developing news out of half moon bay a 50- foot commercial fishing boat is stranded this morning. it ran in to the rocks in front of the ritz carlton. that happened about midnight. the captain is the only person on board and isn't hurt. authorities tried to bring the captain to shore overnight but he refused to get off the boat. they say the boat will be removed this morning.

oakland police are investigating a deadly hit and run involving three cars. that happened at 14th and adeline street. police say a passenger in a white pickup truck died. another passenger is in critical condition and the driver also had to be taken to the hospital a woman driving a black audi was also hurt. the driver of the light colored car ran from the scene. a deadly motorcycle crash is also being investigated. it happened on highway 580 just before one this morning. right now its not clear what led to the crash. >> deputies are searching for a missing 6-year-old. she was last seen with her mother's boyfriend at their home thursday morning. when the girl's mother got home thursday night she found that her boyfriend was passed out from a seizure and the girl was gone. yesterday search and rescue teams went door to door with flyers to try to help find her. >> i'm hoping to god she went somewhere with someone she is regularly with and they have her because they know the

situation with her mother and the boyfriend or something. >> deputies say the girl didn't go to school this week. she is described as african american, about 3-foot 5, 60 pounds, curly brown hair and eyes and a birthmark on her forehead. she was last seen in light blue pajamas. young football players will join for coaches at the training facility today. ally is live with an inside look at this interactive player safety clinic. >> reporter: hi. we are talking about a sport that according to one of the nfl's study has one of the highest concussion rates. compared to any other sport. today the nfl and usa football 49ers are bringing in 40 high school coaches from across the barry to show them and teach them techniques to show them to play the game safer. i have with me -- he is tell us

about this event. >> today we have coaches out. along with hydration and aed awareness a lot of issues that are facing football. we want to give them the most up to date knowledge. >> reporter: a lot of parents worry about the concussion issue that's come up in the news. are there ways to teach players to play the game differently so they can try to avoid that? >> yeah. that's a great question. in the past it was -- it was to focus on the ball. now they are focusing on the shoulder tackle. when you do that what you are doing is allowing the athlete to slide their head to the side and get it out of the point of

contact. it's putting attention o do you place my shoulder appropriately. >> reporter: and a lot of the coaches, the event is for the coaches. more so than the players. don't a lot of coaches know this thing? why is it important to teach this? >> you know you can be a great coach and i think what's happened is a lot of guys teach what they were taught when they played and a hot has changed since they put the helmet on. they are trying to give them the information that's backed up by the research. by the cdc. the corey stringer institute. perfect your craft is something they think all coaches work for. this gives them the opportunity to get the latest and greatest. >> reporter: and the new message which is try to avoid concussions and try to use other techniques to do that. >> absolutely. >> reporter: thank you. the training clinic starts at eight. so, we will be here for that. coming up in 30 minutes, jarod will show me the heads up techniques they will show the coaches here. we will check back with you at

8:30. >> that could be interesting. thank you. >> we are just days the golden state warriors first game of the finals against the cavaliers. the team will practice at oracle but clay thompson will most likely not participate. the warriors said he was diagnosed with a concussion. that just two days after he took a frightening knee there to the side of his head. the team said he won't return to the court until he is symptom free and cleared under nbc concussion guidelines. >> i just -- do what the doctors say we should do and -- obviously we want to be as careful as possible. >> reporter: they are optimistic he will be able to play thursday. tickets for the game went on yesterday but getting that golden ticket was not easy. fans issued in line for hours

at the arena yesterday afternoon. general sales opened at four in the afternoon and by 4:36 they were all gone. that left many fans disappointed. >> yeah. 1, 2, and 5, no standing room. >> want to see them play. not at the bar. >> reporter: ticket prices are expected to soar on the resale market. ticket ons stub hub, the cheapest ticket $675. for game two the cheapest was $767. in cleveland i can tickets cheaper. fan was lining up to buy warrior gear. they had their biggest retail and web sales in history. those western conference champs hats are all gone. 1500 sold out in the first 15 hours. the team store will be open every day until the finals are over. here is a look at the schedule.

for new buildings in california. the state building standards commission approved a plan to reduce the amount of water for landscapes on new and renovated homes proposed after june. the new rules in response to the governor's order for a 25% cut back on water use. local governments are responsible for enforcing those rules. >> the president has signed a disaster declaration after severe weather causes devastating flooding. in the past few days dramatic air rescues have become common and many drivers continue to get stuck from area rivers over flowing. this weekend dozens of people were told to evacuate wharton as the river is expected to crest at just overo 43 feet this morning. authorities in texas say 16 people have died. the latest victim a child. >> towns have been destroyed in a massive way.

the bay area real estate market is now a cellars market. some homeowners taking advantage and rethinking their options even if it means moving. according to a report home prices across most of the bay area went up 10.3% in march compared to the same month last year. moving companies and home saving companies say they are busier than ever. one real estate ott in the business for 37 years said she has never seen the market like this. >> the offer prices are so much higher than the asking prices. i haven't seen what we are experiencing right now. >> one mortgage loan advisor said despite tighter lending they have turned on average 27 residential deal ace month. in the mast -- past they would turn ten a month. they expect it to continue in to the summer. treasure island is soon going to get a makeover that could make it home to one of

year-old barricaded himself and his 1-year-old inside that apartment. after hours of negotiations he finally gave up. that happened about 9:15. >> there was no struggle. he gave up himself. the child wasn't hurt and was brought back to his mother. he is facing charges of domestic violence, burglary and resisting and delays officers. a construction worker fell 20 feet down an elevator shaft of the. he was working yesterday morning on scaffolding. he was rushed to the hospital. hospital they are investigating why the scaffolding collapsed. the museum is closed for renovation. >> a protest is planned today in san francisco to call for an end to police brutality. it's scheduled to start at noon at 24th and mission.

the group women organized to resist and defend said the protest is in support of the people of baltimore. following the death of freddie gray. he suffered a fatal injury while in police custody. six officers are facing charges. we are learning that some oakland police officers were not wearing body cameras as required during last weekend's protest. the officers were enforce -- enforcing a new crack down on nighttime demonstrations. the mayor ordered the crack down after she said vandals caused damage earlier this month. city councilman said that at least five officers were not wearing their body cameras last week. >> there is really no excuse. that the policy is very clear. we must wear cameras. >> the councilman said some police officers said that the cameras fell off during the struggle. he said that the city council wants to be told if officers

don't have one because of lack of funding. young football players will team up today to learn more about helmet safety. ally is live in santa clara this morning where this clinic is being held at the san francisco 49ers training facility and you said in our last report that you were going to give us a run down of some of those drills right? >> reporter: that's right. we have the experts here to show us what they will be teaching at this clinic today. that starts at eight and 49ers and usa football are bringing in 40 high school football coaches across the bay area. the goal is to teach them how to teach their players to play the game safer and that means doing what you can to avoid the possibility of a concussion. jarod is the senior manager for usa youth football program. you have a demonstration here. what are you teaching the coaches? >> we will teach them what we hope they will take back. the first is the break down position. get them in the agent let elk

period. in alameda, graduation rates passed the statewide average. san jose mayor has released his budget recommendations. the budget includes $6.5 million for recruiting and hiring police officers. it also includes money for body cameras, license plate readers and street repairers a public hearing will be held june 8th. the council will consider adopting it on june 9th. a new study says more than $520 million is spent on homeless services throughout santa clara. it's spent on social services, health care and jail tapes. the study tracked more than 104,000 homeless from 2007 to 2012. that study is presented at a community leader forum in san jose tuesday morning. >> he has only been on the job for about a month but the police chief is getting a clear look at how involved the community is willing to get when it comes to fighting

light at the end of the tunnel. as he left the courtroom he apologized to the families of the people who had died. >> a 12 hour stand off ended peacefully after a suspect barricaded himself in an apartment with his son. that stand off started at 9:15 at an apartment on sycamore. police came to the apartment to deliver an emergency protective order to a domestic violence victim. police say that is when the 37- year-old bare barricaded hips -- himself and his child in the apartment. he fine of finally gave up last night. >> no struggle. no incident at all. he -- he turned the child over to our officers and gave up. >> the child wasn't hurt and was taken back to his mother. he is facing charges of domestic violence, and resisting delaying officers. snapless isn'ton police are looking for a second suspect in a series of thefts.

investigators released videoed of the person they are looking for. he stole cell phones, laptops, and other items from the lockers at the 24 hour fitness. earlier this week 19-year-old ryan cobw was arrested in connection with the theft. he is the man on the right side of the screen the person on the left is the man still wanted. they say that the locker thefts happened over a two month period and anyone with information is asked to call the police. >> a protest is planned today in san francisco to call for an end to police but talent. it's scheduled to start at noon. there at 24th and mission. the group women organized to resist and defend said the protest is in support of the people of baltimore following the death of freddie gray. he had a fatal spinal injury in police custody. six police officers are now facing charges in connection with his death. we are learning according to one city councilman that some oakland police officers were not wearing body cameras as is required during last

weekend's protest. they were enforcing a new crack down on nighttime demonstrations in the city streets. they made several arrests. the mayor ordered the crack down after vandals caused damages early easterly this month. city councilman said that at least five officers were not wearing their body cameras last week. >> there is no excuse. the policy is very clear. we must wear cameras at all times. >> the councilman sid some said their cameras fell off. he said that the struggle wants to be told if some don't have one because of a lack of funding. >> the san jose mayor has released his new budget recommendations. it includes 6.5 million for recruiting hiring police. if also includes money for body cameras, license plate readers and street repairs a public hearing is going to be held june 8th. the city council will consider adopting it on june 9th.
