source. da da da. tonight 2 investigates obtained the results of a inspection of a trucking company involved in a deadly crash in march. and the chp was so concerned with what they found they want to shut the company down. robby trucking owned the truck that crashed into a restaurant march 16 killing the driver. ktvu's allie rasmus is where robby trucking is based. >> reporter: the latest chp inspection of the company they found dozens of violations. among them running trucks with brokenacles and windshield -- broken axels and wind chills and breaks. >> reporter: he lost control of

his truck and crashed into a restaurant. the chp says bad breaks may have been to blame. >> several of the eyewitnesses to the collision did report the vehicle was running away at that time. >> reporter: faulty breaks are not a isolated problem for robby trucking. the chp found problems with 5-6 trucks in the fleet, including breaks out of service. the chp inspected them three times since october and they have failed every test. the end result the chp represented the dmv suspect or revoke their permit. >> commercial vehicles are dangerous if not maintained. heavy vehicles, they carry a lot of weight. if the breaks don't work, if there is any issue that puts everyone at risk. >> an inspection found the owners did not check it reports of two -- records of two
