the chief of police in salinas is putting context to a video involving officers. it shows officers beating a man. even the chief says it looks horrific but he adds viewers need to know what happened before the camera started rolling. the suspect had jumped on cars and attacked his mother. the suspect resisted arrest and attacked officers. the police tased him twice with no apparent affect, after being released from the hospital he was booked for felonies and parole violation. the ntsb is scheduled to release their findings on the amtrak crash. they have determined if the
