along with fifth street along mission. the bomb squad found there was nothing hazardous. we're learning more about a prison escape. the biggest surprise over the course of the hunt for matt and sweat who turns 35 today, is the lack of positive leads about their whereabouts. joyce mitchell a 51-year-old prison seamstress is now facing charges for supplying the men with the tools used in the escape. she has helped investigators accomplish a time line of last saturday morning when the men escaped. mitchell was planing to go with them but at the last moment changed her mind. >> she was planning to meet them once her vehicle was

neated. >> investigators don't think mitchell was involved in helping her run away with two convicted killers. officials say they likely killed the militant responsible for an attack at a plant in al- qaida. the military is not yet confirming the kill. though a spokesperson says that it is certain. there's word tonight curdish fighters are closing inen on an area of syria that's held by isis. takes the city would interrupt isis supply lines to syria. isis fighters blew up bridges to try to keep the curds from moving in. there are intense air strikes to cover the curdish advance.

the area the filled with refugees trying to move into turkey. back here at home, a two vehicle accident on the peninsula left a motorcycle driver dead this afternoon. the crash happened around 1:15 p.m. on highway 101 near the hillsdale boulevard. a honda crv hit a suzuki rider who was thrown off his bike. the man was rushed to the hospital but did not survive. it did not appear that drugs or alcohol was a factor. a long lifted comet has landed after taking off from earth. >> reporter: it was a reunion seven months in the making. scientists say they've heard

enclosures. sending tigers, bears, even a hippopotomus. he had to be tranquilized. at this point both zoo officials and the mayor say it's unclear how many threatened animals are still out there. >> the threat remains therefor we urge citizens not to walk and travel into the areas where animals can attack them. >> at this point at least 12 people have died in the flash flooding including a zoo keeper who just last month lost her arm in a tiger attack. although it's unclear if the animals had anything to do with any injuries or deaths. in los angeles, will carr, fox news. a bit cooler all weekend long across the entire bay area. remember just on friday we had temperatures around 100 degrees. today the warmest locations not so hot.

but still some 80s to record out toward livermore. san francisco 62 degrees. here's our live camera looking live toward all of the excitement in oracle arena. we do have patchy fog pushing back into the region so it will be a factor first thing tomorrow morning for your monday morning forecast for the monday morning commute. in fact, here's a closer look at the satellite then we go with the cloud cover near the coast. a few patches heading into the coastal bay. temperatures will start out friday morning will be in the 50s. low to mid-50s across the bay area for tomorrow morning. that's all reflected in the forecast with the areas of fog near the coast to near the bay. you see the temperature time line. warming back up into the 60s for the shoreline. some patchy coastal fog. partly cloudy skies into the bay. tomorrow morning possibly some drizzle out there as well. especially right near the immediate coastline.

firefighter are making progress in a wildfire that began last tuesday. the fire was sparked by lightning in the shasta forest. the forest service said it had 71% containment. firefighters say dry conditions and steep terrain have made their jobs difficult but they expect better fire fighting conditions tomorrow with cooler temperatures and increasing humidity. investigators in texas say the men linked to an assault on dallas police headquarters had a violent past. police say two years ago he choked his own mother. the suspect was identified as james balwear. investigators say he planted pipe bombs and shot at the investigators and officers. he then led offices on an 11 hour chase to the small

community of hutchins. he remained held up for hours until he was shot by a sniper. the naacp postponed a meeting set for tomorrow where its member was supposed to speak. the spokane chapter said the meeting would be rescheduled because of need to continue speaking with national leaders. the naacp is investigates whether she lied about her ethnicity when she applied to be part of their board. thousands gathered for the l.a. pride parade. the event is a colorful combination of revelry and political action. important issues being addressed at this year's parade include same-sex marriage right that is are under consideration by the supreme court as well as

issues facing transgender people such as violence and access to medical care. minimum wage workers in l.a.x. are -- los angeles are heading for a pay raise. the first increase is set for next july from $9 to $10.50 an hour. garcetti said the pay rise would help a large part of society. >> not just mild poverty, back breaking poverty. >> the pay hike was opposed by groups representing restaurants, theater owners and small businesses who said it would lead to lower employment. here in the bay area, san francisco's minimum wage is set to rise to $15. oakland's minimum went up in

been cooling down steadily. there was that fog bank out there. it's increasing in coverage right now. basically socked in your coastline. and the low cloud bank will increase in coverage. when you wake up you will see some of the cloud cover to start out your monday morning. temperatures are in the 50s. san jose 57, santa rosa 53 and napa checking in 52 degrees. winds having a constant all day long. especially out toward fairfield here that's sustained at 28 gusting to 36-miles-an-hour. that wind coming in out of the southwest. more wind reports for you here out toward sfo. winds backed off a little bit out of the west checking in 14 miles per hour. it's a nice tweak from the u.s. forest service. honoring our nation on flag day. as you can see the rainfall earlier. here's our live camera looking

out toward oracle arena. all the excitement from earlier this evening. now the fog bank working its way back into the picture. we will bump up those numbers definitely another warming trend showing up on the long range weather maps. on the long term we will continue to warm things up across the bay area and cap those temperatures. here's the temperature time line. patchy fog in the morning hours but lots of sunshine into the afternoon. and during the afternoon, temperatures maxing out in the low to mid-80s. here's an update on what is now tropical storm carlos. winds have backed down to 70 miles per hour. and they reached 74. expected to be a hurricane at 74 miles per hour. possibly as a tropical storm or tropical depression. definitely a significant rainmaker as we head into tuesday or possibly into the wednesday forecast. back here in the bay area, cooler for today. of course we had the overnight
