the issue of san francisco police staffing will be discussed. the police department has 17 officers. a board of supervisor resolution showing 2200. the staffing is less than other cities comparable in size. opponents are worried about the cost of adding more officers. the pittsburgh city council will consider raising water rates. the water rates would go up 4%. the higher rates will meet the 20% reduction in water use and fines between 25 and $1,000 for
