ordinance has grown. it's unclear if there will be a vote tonight because the opponents of these ordinances say they plan to speak tonight on every single issue essentially trying to stretch out the agenda in the hopes this will be put off for another night. >> ken, and when they vote any expectations on to which way that will go. >> reporter: the city councilwoman believes these ordinances will pass. she believes she has the support to get these passed and part of that is because there were some late amendments to these ordinances according that six month waiting period after which citations would be issued for violations of these ordinances. >> all right, thank you ken. former state senator leland yee is scheduled for a change of plea hearing on corruption and money laundering charges. in addition to yee, two other defendants were on the calendar for 11:00 a.m.

yee has pled not guilty to 19 charges. his attorney is not commenting tonight, but there have been negotiations and a plea deal is possible. the former state senator was among 27 people arrested early last year in a wide ranging political corruption scandal. greece missed its deadline. huge crowds rallied outside parliament in athens calls for the government. it would cut the greek budget further and raise taxes. greece plans a referendum on the deal sunday and more talks are scheduled for tomorrow. the possibility of a deal calmed the u.s. stock markets. the dow gained 23 after losing 60 yesterday. nasdaq was up 28 and the s & p

the death toll from the crash of an indonesian military plane crashed into a hotel. the people on board were believed to be military personnel and their families. but there's an investigation into whether some people paid to get on board which is not permitted. witnesses said that they saw smoke and fire as the plane circled low then crashed. there are heightened concerns tonight over the possibility of an isis led

terrorist attack during the upcoming 4th of july weekend. and jana katsuyama sat down with two top experts at sanford and found out just how prolific isis is on social media, jana. >> reporter: ken, certainly smart phones and laptops have given access a direct communication channel to many people. stanford researchers say they're not the first terror group to use social media but they might be the most effective. >> reporter: a few key strokes can be the key to opening a conversation with anyone any where in the world. and that's something isis has used to its advantage, expanding its reach worldwide through the internet and social media. >> isis has a very sophisticated social media strategy. >> reporter: u.s. officials have big challenges in the online battle. isis and supporters are able to

wave broad band said the outage affected customers in rockland and sacramento and it was as a result of someone who cut fiberoptic cables. wave said it -- said the cables were not their own but from a company they contract with. >> we don't really know what's going to happen. they don't know until the police investigates. >> reporter: the phones were ringing at dixon city hall. they were also affected by the outage. most outside calls could not be reached. >> the best thing is to come in. if you have something important to come and talk to the people here because they're able to do most of the stuff they need to do in their job. >> reporter: the fbi says in this case the cables that were cut are about the diameter of the pencil and coated in protective layers. in the past year they've had 11

the confederate flag that has stirred so much controversy in the u.s. has a home here in the bay area. this confederate flag has a home in a hotel in benetia. you can see the stars and stripes over an eagle. since the killing of nine people there's been a nationwide call for the flag to be taken down but in benetia there's just been just one complaint to the city. >> it is private property. it is in the historic district. so any change would have to go before the commission. >> they think all the stained glass windows were added in the 1970s. the nsa got the two ahead of collecting the phone records of americans but it can only be done until november 29th. the u.s. freedom act passed earlier this month allowed the bulk data collection for
