weekend. >> it's a tradition going on for such a long time, and it really does blow my mind that it's still happening but considering that people are very proud of this, they still want to do it, it amazes me they don't take more serious precautions, like that fence came down so easily. we've done a lot of stories on the wildlife foundation in the uk. once they take these animals in if they're not immediately released they try to heal them up and release them into the wild where they belong. one thing they get a lot of is hedgehogs and it's that time of year where they have some hedgehogs that need to go to a new home. they have a special haven for this little fellow. >> the orphaned youngster called him greg. >> it doesn't look like it's real. it looks like a plastic squeaky ball. >> about the size of the person's thumb. >> it is. >> so tiny. >> the funny thing is, a man

named greg made a haven for the hedgehogs in his back garden, greg weiss, actor and producer married to emma thompson. this hedgehog and his female friend will live with an a-list actress and her family. here's simon cowell in his formal red jacket and seeing the habitat greg made for them. the male hedgehog and female hedgehog have their own home. as you can see, greg has grown. >> the male hedgehog went into his home straight away. >> look at that. that is -- >> you know how girls are, a little more picky about our residences. >> the female took her time assessing a new home carefully. >> that's so sweet. it's so wonderful that they get to create a sanctuary for hedgehogs. >> do hedgehogs breed like rabbits? >> funny how you ask that. she wants them to have babies.

security camera footage caught this break-in in the uk, this convenience store. two guys busted right through the front door. that alerted the owner of the store who lives right upstairs from this shop and his family. you see the two guys clearly covered up, they bring their own large shopping bag and go straight for -- >> the cigarettes. >> you betcha. they load up the big bag with as many cigarettes as they possibly can. in fact, reports say that they took nearly $7,000 worth of cigarettes. i don't know how much they
