hire these dogs? >> we're riding in a cruiser in iowa. >> she's kind of bored by this guy. the car approaches the road on the right hand side. they kind of fishtail around because of the speed. you can see the young teenaged driver inside puts it into reverse. the police officers get out of the car, start screaming. you see that female police officer shooting while running, giving instructions, giving instructions. eventually they're brought out of the car. they're both teens. this happened back in june. the reason it's only just been released is because there was a bit of an investigation as to what went on and why. because listen to what you hear the female officer say.

>> you type it in real quick, and it came back. i'm like, that ain't it. >> this pursuit started because the officer misread the license plate. so they thought that this may be a case of a stolen car or switched-out license plate, which it wasn't. however, once they tried to pull over the car for this minor infraction, it took off and started eluding police. >> why were those kids running from police? >> the driver was in violation of parole. he took off. these two kids were almost killed for a mistaken license plate. none of those shots hit any of them, they weren't injured. neither officer will be disciplined. the only part they feel was inappropriai in that they will work on is the inappropriate use of language while getting the
