>> eventually because the fawn is unable to keep up, mom has to keep going and has to to leave her behind. >> he decides he wants to intervene, want to help rescue this fawn. as darius looks at the leg, he puts together that it wasn't broken. so to help it stand up, he ended up making a splint out of an oatmeal box. he fed it 24 hours around the clock. >> darius knows and respects the fact that you're not supposed to take wild animals as pets. as soon as he feels the fawn is ready to go home, darius takes the fawn back out in the wild to try to find its mom. he said he went back every evening. finally one day they do go back, they find the mom. the fawn goes back with its mom.
