stuck up in a tree for several days. he is 25 feet up. so robert reese has been called into the rescue. >> he's been stuck for three days. beautiful day for climate. i think this should go well. >> now, the owners tried to use a basket to get the cat to go in and put food in it, but it was not lured. so robert reese came over, got his climbing equipment, and climbed up to get that cat down. now, usually in these rescues they try to put the cat in the bag and climb down. this is completely different. as you can see there is a trampoline at the bottom of that tree. that trampoline will figure very largely into this rescue. >> i want to see a cat bounce so bad. >> christmas is going to come early for you. you're going to see exactly that. first thing watson gets scared so he goes way out on the limb. but the limb isn't sturdy enough to hold him. so there you see him out on the branch. >> i'm going have to drop him. >> the daughters of the family move the trampoline so it's in

from the very first frame of this video, you know what's coming. but i guarantee you, what you're thinking isn't nearly as crazy as what you're about to see. as he approaches he figures, i can make it. let me peddle faster. wham. he gets hit by a high-speed train and there he is. laying in a lump off to the side of the tracks. let's reverse that camera angle and see it from the other side. and you realize, how dumb can this guy be? the train is already across the entire road before he even gets hit. thankfully he runs into the side of the train instead of the train running into the side of him. he gets punted off into the grass. that's a head injury. he's expected to be okay, but he was knocked unconscious. you see one of the good samaritans in a car nearby run to help him out.
