fishermen on a sinking boat are counting on brave volunteers. >> they are heroes. >> how the rescue becomes even more dangerous when somebody jumps ship. >> no, not in that water! dash cam video catches a driver -- >> trying to make a right turn. >> what made it a very wrong one instead. an injured calf has hope. two guys from animal aid. >> coming to the rescue. they've got this. >> how some tender loving care got baby back to this. and he became a youtube favorite when he got blindsided by barkley. see who basketballer punks by posing as an uber driver.
2:31 pm
>> i think they have seen this brother before. the bravest of the brave of those who choose to earn their money saving people's lives. but then there are other volunteers who go out to do it for nothing. they are heroes. here's the royal national institution. they have saved 140,000 lives. add three more to the total thanks to this video. >> wow, that boat is in a horrible predicament. >> it's about to get worse. as they get closer, you can see how much they are being thrown around by the swell. i think they help to stabilize it as they throw the anchor over the side so they don't drift away too much. but it is way too windy, way too much swell to get closer. and this person decides to start swimming toward the lifeboat. >> no, not in that water.
2:32 pm
>> they have everything they need, flotation devices and jackets. one by one they make their swim over. >> and they've got the equipment but you have to think about the adrenaline that is probably pumping right now. i see the rescuers, i have to go. >> you can see the other guy still left on board. >> the captain i imagine, right? >> you would think. i have no idea. eventually he jumps over as well and makes his way to the boat. >> do you know if the boat starts sinking? >> i don't know specifically about that but there was a total loss of all their stuff. so i don't know what happened to their boat in tend, but let's be glad these guys left with their lives. there are so many incredible crazy things going on on the roads around the world. that's why i love this show. in south korea, that white hyundai elantra is out in the middle of the intersection already. it's a red light, trying to make a left turn, you see the blinker
2:33 pm
on. but watch what happens to this. >> how on earth? how? >> 33-year-old female driver mistook the gas for the brake. busted through that small metal fence. fell about 13 feet. crashed down to the ground below. >> why? was she under the influence of anything? >> no word if she was under the influence or anything like that. her and her passengers have minor injuries but nothing serious. i would also have to say, though, design of the roadway here, pretty bad. the only thing keeping cars from flying off that bridge is a tiny little metal fence that may want to rethink that one. two brazil, 8:30 in the morning, rush hour. >> a tree, a limb, a branch? >> the entire tree comes crashing down into that lane. thankfully when that happened, it likes like it was a road leading out of town. but that tree just crashing down, three people injured in that incident.
2:34 pm
two people on motorcycles but no serious injuries. >> it's a double-edged sword. when you are in the city with the garden environment, you have the trees. but then things like this can happen. >> traffic circles are much more popular in different parts of the world than they are here in the states. so what happens when you encounter a traffic circle but you are transporting something 241 feet long. >> go straight. >> it is one spin of a giant wind turbine that is being transported here. now watch this truck. the front end here has a hydraulic on it so it can gently lift the front end of that propeller. now way downtown -- >> it looks to me like one of the two guys in the back has the control over the wheels at the back. >> i would have just driven straight through. the deer keeps getting stuck in has happened again to this
2:35 pm
poor deer. but these guys are coming to the rescue. they've got this. you have one guy pulling on the hind legs and the other messing with the head trying to dislodge it. >> oh, dear. >> i feel so bad for the poor animals because they are looking at the fence rails like branches. they just expect the branches to just split apart but no. >> in a split second, the thing comes out of the fence and runs away. >> to another. >> no, it does look like it actually runs back into the woods. hopefully it doesn't run into that fence again. now the guys over at animal aid unlimited in india were called to this scene. and it is not a pretty one. that poor calf was hit by a car and apparently dragged on the road. >> wow. >> bear in mind, cows are sacred here as well. >> they came to his rescue. they pick it up ever so gently. but you can tell how much pain this poor calf is experiencing. >> you don't know what kind of broken bones it has, they don't know and there's no way they
2:36 pm
know until they get it back to the center for evaluation. >> even though it looks like it's in terrible condition, they treat its wounds and in just 9 months, look at her. >> oh, man. all the injuries made it look like she had a stoppled coat but she's pure white. >> she's jumping around like a dog, playing with the other animals, it's cute. it's really adorable. going to this business, they put a ladder over the building and are going to carry it up over the building. >> they know what they're doing very well covered up. >> they hand up the ladder to gain access to the pully. it's a bay door. and that's how they get inside. once inside, they are going to execute their plan. >> what is that? >> notice the cigarette. 24 cases worth, about $64,000. >> wow! >> that's a lot of money.
2:37 pm
>> once they are outside, they take all the product right down the ramp and head right back over the railing and get out of there. >> i think somebody's got to do something about the business. there's got to be inside information because they seem to know exactly where to go, how to get in and what they were taking. >> they did a good job casing the joint and getting away with it so far. philadelphia police are looking for them. the next video is from the funeral home in texas. this family wants this out there and you'll see why. the family members of the deceased had just left. maybe a 15-minute timeframe when this woman walks into the funeral home to use the restroom. instead she heads into the viewing area, approaching the casket, and you can hear the family members talking over the footage. >> this is bad. >> she sticks her hand down in the coffin. >> what is she looking for? her ring? >> this woman kept her wedding ring on and was planning to be buried with it. her husband passed a few years prior. she moves it off the deceased
2:38 pm
body and walks out like nothing ever happened. >> the funeral home said there's no way to monitor this time of thing. there are several different areas to come in to pay your respects and normally there's a few hours allotted to each person there. >> did they catch up with her? >> not yet but police have received tips and are hoping it will help bring justice to this family. this guy is breaking weightlifting records. >> 500 pounds, 300 pounds. >> it's going to blow your mind a lot more when you see the deadlift part of this video. >> see his incredible story, next. we've got a quick question for you. >> if it looks like cake and has what appears to be the texture of cake, what is it? >> eat at it! watch before you eat on "right this minute." tin-d.
