>> that car just had a catastrophic failure. it started to go and then you see poof, fire and smoke and parts in every direction. you see the safety crew quickly rush in. they pull the driver out of the car. now, this was a transmission failure. many cars have guards around the transmission to protect in case something like this happens. that driver did have an injury to his foot. you can see in the slow motion how traumatic that was. guys that were able to look inside the car afterwards say the gas pedal and brake pedal were bent 90 degrees to the left because of the force. whatever blew out of that transmission came right through the metal. look at the hole in the door here to the defendant. somehow that completely missed the driver. >> this was his lucky day for real. >> it's a miracle.

at the very bottom of this well is a horse that somehow fell down there and obviously is now stuck. these emergency workers are trying to figure out how on earth they're going to pull this poor thing back. >> oh, my gosh. sat down there with all that trash. >> it's not a good situation. the bottom line is they have to get it out of there. and this is how they do it. by using their own physical strength to loop some ropes under its belly and then pulling it right up. >> poor thing. >> pretty small horse, too. that helped them in that situation be able to just use manpower for that. >> it appeared to be uninjured. >> poor thing. this next one, this hiker was out there, encountered a bear. decided to start rolling.
