>> he asked to use the restroom and here is where the footage pick up. you see her pointing instructioning him where to go. suddenly he leans in and tackles her and knocks her to the ground. he's on top of her several minutes. he's taking the jewelry off her fingers. including in that is her wedding ring that she had for 48 years. at one point you see him stand up and twist the ring off her finger. watch as he goes through the other parts of her house looking for thi things to take. in one hand a bag of stuff and one hand -- >> does she have an alert button or something? >> no. the camera is in her apartment because her friend suspected like this could happen. >> so then what happens? >> he run through of the rest of the place. one of his -- that's where police found him. they not only found the jewelry but a purse and other things he had stolen from her apartment. this dude is scum.
