[ laughter ] we have two videos with the most random series of events with surprise lly normal endings. this first one is a mom on the scooter right here with her 3-year-old daughter on the back. the mother stops and as she's there waiting for her turn to go, the little girl gets off the bike. mom doesn't notice and takes off leaving the child behind. watching her mother ride away. >> look at this intersection. >> oh, she running after her. >> no! >> she takes off running behind her. amazingly gets missed. is not injured as she crosses the street. >> right at the end! >> fortunately, a police officer spotted the child, picked her up, and the little girl knew just enough about where she lived that they were able to take the child to the village

that she was from which is where the mom was heading in the first place and able to reunite them. little girl, uninjured. mom scared nerveless. >> what do you even think you've done? >> i'd be going crazy. >> what a scary situation for the mom and for the child. this next video is amazing. because in what looks like a very busy street, i can't tell why -- >> looks like fog or smog or something caused the traffic to come to a standstill. >> while traffic is at a standstill, you see the driver of the vehicle right in front of us get out of his car to have a smoke as he waits for traffic to continue on. well, that ended up saving his life. >> oh! >> my goodness. >> where did that even come from? >> that truck didn't see the traffic backed up in the fog or smog or whatever that is.

he's going to need another cigarette. >> we've seen robert reese's work on "right this minute" before. he goes around the south helping people rescue cats out of trees. this is a first for robert. he's gone up into a tree in mississippi to save a mama raccoon. he got a call from a humane organization saying, hey, we need a humane relocation of this raccoon and her kids. it took him a few minutes to get that thing around mama. >> mama is thick. >> she hasn't lost her baby weight. you can kind of hear her objection. his job is not over. it's time to get the babies. he climbs down, gets mama into a cage. claims back up to get the babies. >> oh! >> the baby fell from the tree. he's not able to catch it. the baby was okay. but he doesn't see the second

one. but he's still looking. >> i hear something, but i can't see it. oh, i see him. never mind. never mind. >> got it. number two is making its anger known. once he gets on the ground, he gives a look at the baby and the baby's like, no cameras, please. [ laughter ] well, done, robert. they were successfully relocated to an area that wasn't somebody's tree in their suburban home. we've all heard of petty theft. we're going to file these videos under silly theft. the guy and the soda machine. in walks his bud who happens to

have a jacket over his head. he's going to start pulling at the beer machine. gives it a tug, another tug, and boom.
